Decent price for anyone wanting 32GB of C15 memory for a Ryzen build, without all the bright lights. Allowing you to have a healthy dose of RAM while keeping 2 slots free.
For me I’m going from 16GB to 48GB to help with my R7 1700 chew through my RAW files in Lightroom.

Awesome deal OP
38115838-vOFyi.jpgI put 4 (64gb) of these exact same sticks in my new Ryzen 2700 build. Be sure to enable the XMP profile in the BIOS, or double-check that it is, to maximise the speed on B/X450 boards. Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects chews through the RAM like no-ones business.

What speed on xmp? Is it at 3000 with all dimms filled? I've Asus b450f with 2x8gb of same sticks, thinking of adding these sticks to it making it 48gb...

Exactly what I’m doing.
Should be 3000MHz on XMP. At worst will be 2933. Depends on how well your motherboard plays.

My BIOS showed 2333MHz without XMP on, 3000MHz with it on.

You can tweak the xmp to get a lillll bit more out of it if you're wanting to experiment around. I think I run at 3133mhz by just changing the frequency drop-down in the XMP settings and nothing else. Been stable this far! Motherboard is an X470-pro though so I imagine it's very much board dependent at that point.

Can this be used in my z-170 motherboard or is this only for ryzen? Apologies for the stupid question not great with tech

No reason why not. It’s just Ryzen benefits from the faster memory, Intel will still enjoy the capacity. You may find cheaper kits for say 2400MHz.

Does this mean I couldn’t reach the speeds advertised? I already have 2666mHz installed so was hoping to get some faster than that

You might, depending on board and CPU but Intel processors don’t benefit nearly as much as Ryzen. Unless you run short of memory regularly, save your money.
