great RAM if you have the Noctua D14 CPU cooler as they fit under it nicely.

1333 mhz is quite old stuff now although 16gb is a nice amount , i would go for 8/12gb of 1600mhz+ instead

Perfect, just what i needed

The difference is negligible unless you are using an APU, the only difference is in benchmarks and even then it's not that big

Nice price for matched pairs.

I bought some of these a few months ago, maybe even a year ago, 8gb at £30 (mad now I know). They were displayed as 1600mhz, so I'm not sure if these are 1300 or 1600 as mine displayed as 1333. I have no reason to dispute it now as the price was a steal, but just letting people know

To get them to 1600MHz just enable the XMP profile.

Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months.

unless you do some serious photo/video editing 16gb is an overkill. Also re memory speed, if you are using Intel cpu and dedicated graphic you are not very likely to see any difference between 1333 and 2k

So is 12GB. Just saying.

This is also pretty good for if you are using virtual machines (mainly in something like a server). Unfortunately so many motherboard only have 2 RAM slots
Still a good deal

Computers are quite versatile things, not just photo/video that uses lots of memory.

Yep, I have 16GB in my PC and have a couple of Hyper-V VMs constantly running on with 2GB memory and 4GB memory assigned to each (and spin up a couple more for testing at times). You can't even notice the performance hit of them running in the background, whereas back in the 8GB days I had to restrict each machine to the bare minimum memory and shut down when not in use.

This ram is perfect for everyday use too, I have the same stuff in my machine. Unless you're the type who obsesses over benchmarks, you won't notice the difference.

Good price for a useful chunk of RAM .......

I'm still on a 4GB 32-bit machine. Tried to play Battlefield 3 recently, my computer just laughed at me...*sobs*

Great price, solid RAM, makes sense for the use-cases listed above or just buy with a mate to end up with 2x4GB each.
We have 2x Corsair 16GB sets (1600 & 1866), but had no luck OC'ing them - I guess Corsair bin them tightly, but as said, the performance difference would be tiny so not fussed. Neither set has skipped a beat. Voted hot....

edit: our sets are Corsair Vengeance rather than XMS so not sure if these would OC
