wow what a bargain!

good for a starter set!

Good deal, personally if i was stuck at a similar budget I would opt for a Logitech G402
Steel Series QCK
Perixx PX-2000 (Perfectly reasonable and affordable keyboard if you can't afford to go mechanical)
Creative Fatal1ty
You could source all these cheaper if you tried and there's always the option to take a G600 if you want some more macro keys.

I'd recommend the Perixx MX-1800 purely because it a 19-key anti-ghosting feature. But I suppose it depends on the type of game you're playing.

The Raptor range is rubbish. Corsair should be ashamed to put their name to it.

Corsair is not really a brand known for quality anymore there's only a few things of any worth they have brought out recently.

Low end gear. Certainly not "gaming" grade by any stretch of the imagination.

I doubt corsair made any of this. Its just a simple rebadge.

really doesnt seem like any sort of bargain??

and yes i own corsair products (k70rgb and m60)

Well the 30s are their lowest end products so of course they're not going to be the same quality. They still need to hit the low end of the market some how.

Their higher end cases, PSUs, Keyboards, Mice, AIO liquid coolers are all very highly reviewed.

Yup it happens to every company. Also fan noise can settle down after its been used for a while. Its Usually a miss aligned fan, which can be cause by manufacturing fault or a knock while in transport.

Corsair is like the chav's choice for PC parts IMHO.
