Building a system around a 3060ti, thinking either i3 12100f/i5 12400f. Would this power supply be good enough? Estimated 411w according to pcpartpicker uk.pcpartpicker.com/lis…ycb

Should be ok especially if you enforce TDP limits on one of those cpus (58w/65w respectively). Recommend buying a wall meter to check rig power usage at wall under gaming/stress test load

Should be fine, my mate runs the same psu with a 3600 and a 2070 super with no issues.

It’s plenty and this is a good PSU, shame it’s not £32.99 like before but it’s still worth it at £39.99.

Much better stretching to an RM series if you can.

The fan on this never stops, and it emits an annoying electrical noise.

Thanks mate, I’m trying to hunt deals as I’m in no rush to buy. I did end up ordering this and cancelling few hours later after I found it regularly be sold for under 35 and the complaints of coil whine. I’m gonna wait and see what pop ups. Around the 60 quid marks there’s plenty of options for hoping to do this on a smaller budget

No probs my money would be on evga corsair or maybe a coolermaster if you wanted to be a bit random .. despite its dedicated following I had a whole bunch of corsairs fail on my network so personally I go with evga all the time now
    Happy hunting

650 Watt is standard and 750 Watt is recommended, incase if you add lot of other accessories, such as RGB fan, extra USB port and HDD!
