Certainly the cheapest I've seen this! It's not mechanical, but I think that's fine for the cash. It does have cutomisable backlighting and 6 programmable G-Keys off on the left hand side though, which is nice.

Price is £19.98 + £3.49 delivery

  • Customizable colour backlighting
  • 100% Anti-ghosting
  • Six Programmable G-Keys
  • Onboard profile storage

Corsair Raptor K40 gives you your choice of multi color per key backlighting, programmable G-keys with onboard storage, multimedia controls, and 100% anti-ghosting with full key rollover on USB for fast, accurate gameplay. The customizable backlighting lets you choose your color to match your system or your style, and the six dedicated, programmable G-keys let you quickly access your favorite macros, presets, and key combinations. The full key matrix anti-ghosting with full key rollover on USB translates into accurate gameplay, even when multiple keys are pressed. And, the easy-access multimedia controls let you play, pause, skip tracks and adjust volume directly from the keyboard.

Why do you say that mechanical is for the cash?
The extra picture is of the wrong version, the one being sold is the small Enter key version.
Nice price, Linus finds nothing wrong with it, really.

The fact ebuyer can't get the pictures consistent is odd (lots with the bigger enter).

Doesn't check a number of my boxes so I continue to look. Heat though.

Fixed, it was a little dark for me, so slipped by my eye. Nice one for that
Corsair make great quality peripherals but thier icue software is appalling.
Edited by: "Chippy8" 18th Sep
iCue is a joke, it just crashes and doesn't recognise the peripherals half the time, also I have a Corsair K63 and the keycaps just fall off with no force, never in my life have I had a keyboard where the keycaps come off so easily. I don't understand why they made it that way.

I get on with icue tbh.
Decent keyboard but will stop working after a bit
Still rocking a PS/2 MS natural keyboard from 2002(?) which is rubbish for gaming - no such thing as a Natural gaming keyboard i'd gut one with NKRO if I knew it would fit.
Wish it could be wireless for this price

I take it you've never tried to program thier scimitar mouse or macro keyboard using icue?

Rgb lighting on my k70/scimitar mouse/Glaive mouse was fine too. Everything else crashed icue!
Wish it didn't have the gangster keys. Makes the whole unit slightly too big for where I would want to put it.

Small enter key is US version.

This is UK keyboard so will come with large enter key, as well as the normal \ key to the left of the Z key.
great keyboard. Been using it to play battlefield games on xbox one for years.

A wireless keyboard with USB passthrough?
rigggary9919/09/2019 19:57

So which is it...?

Mine is about 4 years old and is now my secondary keyboard, has been used quite heavily for gaming, as well as writing a lot. Software worked well. Bargain.
