Saw this at Tesco, today reduced to clear £40 asked the lady at the counter who told me it was National -
Corsair gaming K63 mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX red switches.

This is one of those compact keyboards with backlighting. Had 2 in stock.

There was also a couple of other Corsair and PC peripheral stuff which I put in my other listings.

I bought both, I already have the K90 and had been planning on buying the k95 plat... however I'm kinda liking the compact keyboard (as I bought the k65 too). So testing it out now and might return the unused one for someone else to get or give it a friend maybe

Nice. That's some dedication to the cause

Is your K63 ISO or ANSI layout? I've seen quite a few mechs in the UK with ANSI layout recently and I just can't make the switch
Plenty in Cardiff Gabalfa and one of the mice left. Fill price displayed on shelf but scan at prices shown on here. Tempted by the keyboard but no number pad means I think I'd prefer something else.

It's ISO layout if that's the correct term?
UK = ISO
Beee carefuul oof the MX Cheerry Red Corsssair keybooards...they are feeekin sensitive with accidental key presses.

On a serious note though Corsair do make great keyboards but just a shame the led lighting is shite. I’ve a K95 non RGB and about 6 leds have packed in since I’ve had it. Also I have pressed the wrong keys during frantic gameplay and its sensitivity meant every accidental key press no matter how light gets registered and can impede gameplay. Also not the best for typing. You can silence Reds with O rings - something I did a year or two back and it does help.

just bought the Strafe RGB with silent Cherry mx keys so I’ll see how that fairs. Heat anyway from me

I've had the complete opposite - my Corsair (K90) has been so resilient - I've dropped drinks into it before and dried it off and still working a charm (due to the metal casing I reckon).

With pushing buttons - the whole point of the keys is that when you push it like quarter/halfway down, it responds, which is what I'd suggest a lot of gamers are after, due to the key push registering sooner rather than later. i.e jumping quicker than someone without the sensitive keyboard giving you that advantage.
If you're after a keyboard that doesn't do that then there are many different switches to choose from, maybe a type that has less pressure sensitivity
No Corsair products at all in the Bristol Eastgate store
0 chance of this being in my local Tesco, heat for good price though
Also tried the Tesco Extra in West Bromwich. They had a space on the shelf for the K63 but none in stock. Picked up the Rapoo V500 instead as a cheap mech for work

Hear what you're saying. You're probably right. I think it's that I've got hammers for fingers :P

I've just swapped over to the Corsair Strafe Silent MX so I'll see how I get on with that. Not tested it yet though as struggling to stay inside in this feckin hot weather

Well you've got a "cool" keyboard to compensate the heat!

Well it doesn't review overly well online so I'm not holding my breath. I wanted the K63 but at £25 it was worth a pop.
I've not had a chance to open it yet but when I do I'll report back.

Yes Please do - I think its nice to have as a back up tbh. Its an entry level board but to get a compact 60% keyboard at £20 is seriously awesome. You should post that deal up!
