As in title this keyboard comes with Cherry MX Blue Switches, so tactile and clicky. Unlike the Cherry MX Red this one is not often discounted.

I've had 3 Corsair K95 RGB keyboards up to now and had nothing but problems, They looks and feel awsome but just aren't worth the premium price for the hassle. plus factor in £40 you'll spend in return shipping for when it bricks it's self.

With Amazon they'll replace it for free, especially if you're a prime member and use them regularly.

Certainly no hassle within 2 years to return and get a replacement.
Corsair seems to have an issue with iCUE. I have K70 RGM MK.2 and have wheel to adjust the volume. Sometimes the volume goes up to the max and the keyboard freezes. Imagine you watch a port or so, volume goes to max and the keyboard is stuck unless you disconnect / reconnect it. Apart from that, I'm happy. And single.

I'm happy my Corsair keyboard is too basic and too old to have all the iCUE bs. The old K65 has lasted me 5+ years with no problems whatsoever. Pure mechanical keyboard with no fancy lights.

As you can see, the deal is about a keyboard with fancy lights. But I agree, iCUE is so "much", that it's contraproductive.
Spend a few extra and go with this, much better. Corsair's iCue software is so cumbersome. amazon.co.uk/Log…8-5

No dedicated media keys is inexcusable on a keyboard that expensive imho. The romer-g's dont seem to be as reliable as cherry mx either (one just failed on my brother's g613 ater 11 months).

The original Romer G sort of sucked, these linear ones do feel closer to cherry reds though. Corsair's software is just terrible from experience. Way too much going on. Also suspect reliability after havcing 3 mice develop faults in the space of 2 months.
The romer-g linears feel fine on my brothers keyboard and the quality in general is nice - but look up amazon.com reviews of any using it and there are always a *lot* of negative reviews about keys breaking.

I agree the iCue isn't great, but if you're in that ecosystem already (mouse, mousepad, or case fans with lighting) then it's an advantage.

I haven't tried the Logitech lightning software, but the Fnatic software is great.
