Definitely the cheapest you'll find on a quality keyboard.

The K70 LUX gaming keyboard has Cherry MX Brown switches backed by a lightweight, durable aluminium frame. Advanced lighting control and large font keycaps deliver dynamic, vibrant backlighting. Harness the power of CUE for sophisticated macro programming and dramatic lighting effects and animations.

100% anti-ghosting with full key rollover on USB helps ensure accuracy, so every keystroke translates directly into accurate gameplay. The USB pass-through port is positioned for uninterrupted game playand readyfor your mouse or wireless headset adapter.

Contoured, textured FPS and MOBA key sets keep you in control, and the Cherry MX Brown switches provide light tactile feedback without an audible click.

Just an fyi, I'm about to send mine into rma for the 2nd time and they make you pay for postage too
What's the difference between reds and browns?
Maybe a daft question but does the wrist support detach from the keyboard?

I have the cherry red version of the same keyboard, I can confirm it does detach.

Thanks
I've had this keyboard for 2 years, no problems. Bought it as a refurb unit for £50, great keyboard.
I have a k65 red rgb and I absolutely love it! Would vouch for Corsair mechanicals
Had my eye on these a while ago but this is much better price, ordered X2, thank you.

Oops it's only red I've cancelled lol

Had one of these and within a month it was typing strings of characters from one key press apparently quite a widespread problem =/ bought a red dragon instead and has worked for a year and a half no problems at all
This is my indestructible work keyboard. Had it 6 years and it just won't die. Massive heat for cherry browns at this price.

I have one of a similar age. I think yours is likely an original k70, as the LUX is newer.

My original is great, I have the red LEDs. I first had the blue, but an LED died after a year so I got the red version instead. The LEDs make a bit of a buzzing sound when on. The keys are working fine though.

I had a refurb original K95 model from ScanUK and I had to get a full refund after going through 3 RMA's due LED's dying 2-3 weeks of use, one had a faulty key ( can't remember which it was ) right off the bat! Poor refurbishing methods I guess, so has put me off refurbed corsair keyboards altogether!
