If I needed a new keyboard, I'd be all over this. Heat.
Think I'll finally take the plunge! Been watching this keyboard for well over a year now
Buy some 40A O-rings too. I have the K65 with Cherry Mx and they make it much quieter.
Been looking at this for some time. Anyone think cherry mx reds better or brown better? I’ve heard but not tested the browns are similar but less noisey
Browns are better for typing and you can feel when it actives, not much of a gamer

I have both, you already know this but here goes anyway. Browns for typing, Reds for gaming, both keyboards will do both tasks better than domes.
I went for browns on my original K70 after buying a sampler set which had a red, blue, brown and black switch on a tiny pcb. I mostly game on my PC, and have no issues with using the brown switches.

I actually split coffee all over my 3 year old K70 yesterday, and after cleaning under all the keys and drying, all the keys were still sticky to actuate, so ended up going the extreme route of taking the keyboard apart and plunging the PCB with all the switches on in a bucket solution of de-ionised water and isopropyl alchohol. After drying overnight with a fan and dehumidifier, all the keys feel back to normal but one of the media keys has stopped working. I had actually put this keyboard on my amazon wishlist yesterday in case i needed to buy a new one, and lo and behold a day later it gets a price drop lower then i've ever seen it

I need a decent keyboard but for a very narrow desk. Would have to be without the num keys for sure.
great price, i have the k65 model which is the same as this without the numb keys and it is incredible
I really want this keyboard, but can't justify £100 for it.

I'm after a back-lit keyboard with brown switches and a full number-pad, but I'm not a gamer.

I am learning to code, and I really don't like my cheap keyboard that I'm using now.

Anyone got anything with a similar spec, but not as expensive?

I'm not fussed about the brand or latency etc gaming extras, just the practicailty of this kb.
You know, people say browns for typing and technically that will be true for most people but in reality, the tactile bump in Cherry switches is virtually imperceptible. Testing them in a shop by pressing them down slowly to feel it is one thing but when you are battering out the latest opus at full tilt, the very very light weight of the switch means you are almost certainly going to bottom the key out anyway. If you are a heavy typer, try a linear anyway if the price difference is good because it is going to feel almost exactly the same. MX clones seem to suffer almost the same issue but at least there is more choice in those. If you are only typing, look at something different like a vintage keyboard or new model M.

In terms of this keyboard, assuming you like RGB and so on it seems a decent saving (so heat) but there are other keyboards out there which are better value and will perform identically. Just for reference I am typing this on a Coolermaster Masterkeys Pro with MX browns.
Got this exact keyboard, best I've ever had. Well worth every penny.

The non-RGB version of the K70 lux with MX Blue switches is £85 on Amazon atm if that floats your boat. Those switches are the noisiest of the bunch by far though, so not great if you have other people nearby.
Nice deal. Frustration-Free Packaging is the only option here right? Hoping it comes adequately packaged.

Oh on the app it doesn’t say that, as long as everything is there and arrives fine I won’t complain

Thanks.

From what I've read, brown switches are the best for an office environment.

Yeah I would agree they are the best compared to other switches, but unless you are practised enough to type without bottoming-out the keys it may still be too noisy/annoying for people nearby, so you may want to look into buying some o-rings too.
Where can I buy a wrist rest like that?
Just received the keyboard it was delivered in the original Corsair packaging but no outer box so it was visible to delivery driver that it was a keyboard
