For a corsair K90 this deal is mind blowing, used on ebay cheapest £80, also a discontinued model and also may be refurbished its the best price for a mechanical keyboard of tournament level gaming. Cherry MX Reds are designed for gaming with its non- tactile linear design its perfect for gamers. 90% of keys are mechanical keys, macro e.g. G1-G18 use rubber domes same with page up + page down

£4.16 Delivery

*Edit
Received the keyboard today, the condition of the box is superb looks brand new, although the keyboard was a bit dirty (easily cleaned with a wet-ish cloth) includes wrist rest which is bendable and doesn't snap easily, keyboard is not that big tbh.

Also should of noted, scan are receiving 210 units of refurbished keyboards

Not bad.I have a Ducky Shine 3.
Mechanical keyboards are the way to go.
Might buy one of these for work.

Picked one up, mechanical keyboard w/ back lit keyboard seems like a steal at this price.

Indeed especially a K90 :D, thought I would spread this once I purchased mine hehe.

Why is there refurbished k90 keyboards?

Original Poster

Its because its discontinued and people decided to refund it, they can't advertise as new this making it refurbished which cuts 4/6 of the cost.

and ordered. Thanks!

Is the delivery price of £4.16 compulsory?

You can pick it up instore to reduce delivery cost, unless you live close spending £4.16 is better than wasting petrol, also they do next day DPD so not much people complain about loss of item(s)

............. just bought a k50 from currys for £55. If only they did brown switches for this. How loud are the red switches as I want it for photo editing and not for gaming.

There is no tactile feedback and for photo editing I suggest a blue switch since they are much louder and are typist recommended, k50 uses normal membrane rubber domes.

Unless I'm missing something these could be sold on ebay as used at a profit.

* This is a Refurbished Keyboard but is factory tested and may have slight cosmetic wear. they ship with the original retail box (condition unknown) including all accessories.

I'm not so sure about this deal - I have a mechanical keyboard (6Gv2) but it isn't illuminated and having black keys nowadays tires my fingers a bit.

I have totally bought the **** out of this!

is the macro section removeable? might buy this and sell my current cm storm trigger on ebay if it is!

Nope,

On a side note - I might be possibly selling my K90 in favor of a K70 with Cherry MX Brown switches, I type too slow with Reds. £50 for a refurb is a decent price i guess. my K90 cost me just shy of £95 when it was new

remember free delivery if you're registered on AVforums (just need to add something so it's £50+vat, about equal to the cost of delivery)

if i'm typing large documents would reds be a better move than blacks?

How do you apply that? I've been with AVForums for awhile now.

that's a shame. I really like the look of the keyboard but I would never use the macros. my current keyboard has one line of macro keys and it's semi-annoying, so that one would probably be way overkill.

Would this be good for Daley Thompsons Decathlon?

Depends on supply and demand. If everyone had that idea and decided to flood the eBay market, it's be hard to find a decent profit, not to mention P&P and seller fees :\

I'm tempted to get this and sell my 6gv2, I've seen them go as low as £30 for my keyboard when I spent a lot more. Saying that their value has gone up a bit of late.

Cheapest item to tip the total to over £50 ?

Can anyone confirm if this is UK or US layout? The part number states UK, but the picture show US. I would hope that the PN is correct, and that the picture is just for illustration.

Thanks OP, ordered.
Got a G15 going spare now then. Anyone want to purchase?

normally blacks are heavier so I think that's better than reds but this mech keyboard price is a steal!!!!

Can anyone comment how much bigger than a normal keyboard this is, looks quite long but can't find any dimensions.
Edit: Found it : K90 502(L) x 163(W) x 24(H) mm / 19.7” (L) x 6.4” (W) x 0.94 (H)
Thanks op I play a lot of bf3/4 so will go for this.

Would snap this up, but it's just too wide and won't fit on the drawer I'm using... Shame!

Well, that's me £100 worse off X) Along with some fans and bits I've been meaning to get for ages! I hope 'pre-order - expected today' doesn't mean they've actually sold out, though.

I'll have an HPE 104 with MX Blues for sale when this arrives, in case anyone's interested. Can't get away with blues, can't stand the clicking when I have a headache!

For some reason the order doesn't show on outstanding products or order history. I've got a scan order e-mail and a paypal order confirmation though. I wonder if they have run out...

Yeah it came through about 10 mins ago.

Ordered - fantastic price.

If you're on the hexus scan group, it's free delivery from £20!!

Bear in mind that only the main keys are actually mechanical on this board. The function keys, macro keys, and the block of keys above the arrows (insert, delete etc.) are still the same old spongy membrane keys you find on any cheap keyboard. This also means the keycaps aren't replaceable.

Still a bargain of course, voted hot, just something to bear in mind.
