It would help you type better I guess.

Good deal. Only a bit more than the K70 Lux, and it's Corsair's flagship keyboard.

They put RGB on it. This makes you type better, play better and enhances sexual virility by a factor of over 9000. Fact.

TLDR: Idiots. Money. Parted.

£155 is a bit steep as you can get a decent mechanical keyboard for less, but still no less than £80.

IF your job involves a lot of typing, you really should have one. You won't believe it as you've likely only ever used a domed keyboard but it makes it easier and faster to type.
This means it also relieves stress on your joints, reducing risk of RSI and often easing hand pain caused by repetitive actions.

I was the same until I borrowed a colleagues for a month, tried to go back to a 'normal keyboard' and it was awful.

Mind you, same goes for using cheap mice too...!

Yeah it was just the RGB bit that is a joke. The old pre rgb version of this keyboard dropped below £100 fairly regularly on here. You are literally paying £50+ for some lights. That's the bit that astounds me

Also the R&D that goes into it. And the software that controls the lights. Etc. I know it's expensive but it's their best keyboard. You can buy cheaper ones.

Ive never really fancied a "mechanical keyboard" but often wondered about them.
Took a fancy to the Logitech rounded keys of the 360 - but it's Bluetooth connnect and no bluetooth on my pretty recent PC apparently. didn't fancy the big chunky keys but interested in others views - may yet try one
As for this - Corsair seem to think their name is like Apple/Mac - where they can double or even triple a price and people will buy the name (says he with 2 MacBooks, an iPad and an iPhone 6s and wanting an iMac but can't afford it .......)

Bluetooth sorted
I always felt that mechanical keyboards were a pointless gimmick, until I tried a second hand qpad with blue switches, now I'm on the lookout for a good deal now on something with brown or blue switches. Macros are also very handy for my job.

I would be less fussed about my keyboard if it wasn't for the fact I use it at least 9 hours each day Monday-Friday.

I prefer the earlier version of this with three columns of macro keys.

Better keyboards allow you to spell much and keyboard properly.

Might want to invest in a better keyboard

I feel I may have missed the joke

I've got the K90 with red switches and it's absolutely amazing. Got it quite a while back refurbished (literally seemed new) for around £55 which is one of the best deals I've ever grabbed, and it was my first and only mechanical keyboard.

You think it doesn't make a difference but over time you will definitely notice.

I was wondering if the K90 is better than most the other keyboards like this, since it has many more programmable buttons and just seems better? Anyone wanna share me some info pls
Pc masterrace for ya lol, love my K70 RGB red switchs.

I think there is also a K95 with the extra macro buttons but it is the older non platinum one.
anything decent with lights for gaming..
must be quiet, also doesn't have to be mechanical , ten key less preferred.

appreciate suggestions, budget around 60 quid

cheers
My k95 arrived this morning and I love it, although I didn't pay anywhere near this price. You can feel the difference between mx reds and mx speed.
anyone know the difference between this and the K95 CG RGB https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-k95-gaming-keyboard-rgb-(168m-colours)-back-lit-keys-cherry-mx-red-mechanical-standard-full-

Lots of ten-keyless Chinese blue switch keyboards on Amazon for cheap-cheap, usually the Blues are Outemu switches (pretty well-regarded for a Cherry Blue knockoff). amazon.co.uk/s/r…ank

amazon.co.uk/88-…cal

Some more: (though prices for the 81 key versions start from £35, not really the sort of price I'd pay, I'd stay to around £20) amazon.co.uk/gp/…800

Here's a rose gold "blue switch RGB" (not sure if it's "real" RGB) full-size keyboard half price on Amazon Warehouse (RRP £39.99) amazon.co.uk/gp/…sed (£20.10 Used - Very Good).
