Hexus is the best to sign up for the free delivery, £20 whereas AVF is £50, Scan are normally cheaper than everyone for PC parts, and if you ever need PC help they're very good, all real techies on the phone.

Cool, yeah you can just get 2 sets of these. I have 2 myself, really is a bargain at £28.
N00b question, but on my phone and not at home. I got the asus motherboard deal the other week, the one with thunderbolt etc. and running the z77 chipset I believe. Are these suitable?
Amazing deal
Any Advantage/disadvantage between this and the 1.5v version that was posted before?
Generally, lower voltage is optimal as it consumes less power and in turn, may generate less heat. However, it is important to note that the overall system must support DDR3L (1.35V low voltage) to enable the module to run at 1.35V. If the system does not support DDR3L (1.35V low voltage), the module will run at 1.5V

this one puts less stress on the cpu controller/causes less heat, and probably overclocks higher... seriously tempted to add them to my system

Why did you do that? I'd rather have Z77 and the use of Quicksync. I never saw the point of X79, it exists because Intel can make it exist, but it's rather pointless really.

X79 is a enthusiast platform, its not pointless, ideal for those wanting to run multi GPU's etc, and for people who render a lot (6 cores) etc

If I was buying now I'd go X79.

I know it does. I'll rephrase it why did you buy a computer with X79? The cost doesn't justify it.

You're welcome to your opinion, I think the increase in performance is not worth the money, that's my view. Also you lose Quicksync which quite a few enthusiasts would benefit from.

I will also rephrase , i did not buy it , i had it for free , i had a problem with R2 Alienware and had it replaced with the R4 .

I had a £2400 computer for free basically , well i did originally pay only £1300 for an alienware R2 with minimum spec and 3 years next day warranty. they ended up losing the computer and therefore i had a major upgrade , i just also upgraded the 2 x 512 Momentus XT drives with the samsung SSD 256gb That was on offer on here too.

I only had 3 months left on the original warranty too ..

NOT BAD AY , but it only came with 4gb of crappy dell memory.
The 1.5v black versions of these stick are the same price - LINK (pre order at the moment though).
Welcome back Scan!
Try to behave this time and you won't get banned....
