Good spot. I had done a search, but didn't see that deal...

How would 4 of these work in an 8gb configuration in an I5 based system? Would 2 x 4gb perform more effeciently?

2 x 4gb would use slighty less power and are likely to run slightly cooler (space between moules)
But the performace difference is very small and the temperatures would only vary by a few degrees
