Not really at you op as its how its listed, but how on earth can it be brand new but refurbished, brand new is just that, new.
You title is how they should of listed it (as new)
Thanks op, ordered and heat added.
Refurb as new? Does that mean all ear wax has been guaranteed to be scraped off it before reselling?
These are great - I have a pair which I got for £60, so this is a decent price if you dont mind the dried sweat/ear wax etc.

People who buy these report getting brand new units.
"Refurbished" covers a wide range of sins but the vast majority of 'refurbished' items like this come from 'buyers remorse' returns to online retailers (DSR/CSR stuff) or retail/catalogue overstock (aka TK Maxx's entire inventory )

No manufacturer actually refurbishes anything - they simply check all the bits are there, quickly test that they work and repack em (often in a plain box as in this case - which deters bulk resale by making their non-brand-new status more obvious)

Ear Wax - possibly but I guarantee you've had "new" items from online retailers and stores which have previously been 'used' - a LOT of DSR/CSR returns are resold as 'new' - clothing in stores has been tried-on before - headphones have been demoed and so on

End of the day - if the warranty is good and you feel the seller will honor it - why not?
