You might just be able to run 2x5970s with this bad boy!

Voted hot, as its a brilliant price for such a good Corsair psu
However, I'd much prefer to have a modular psu, especially when theres as many cables as this
8 PCI-e power connectors is a bit much for most!

HX is my preferred choice due to it being seasonic and not CWT.

yep if i was buying i would prefer the modular HX aswell but for a saving of around £60 i would definately get this and put up with cable clutter, or the extra unused pcie cables is a good excuse to buy an extra graphics card :P

Even though the 5 year warranty is nice, it required international postage to the Netherlands if the retailer fobs you off after one year of ownership. But that may have changed since I last searched for information about Corsair PSU's last year. So worth checking postage rates and factoring that into any saving compared to buying from a different supplier such as Scan.

I suggested Scan as certain retailers provide the full 5 year warranty direct with them (avoiding international postage rates). Only one I know of is Scan, but might be others.

yep unfortunately corsair is also one of the companies (along with OCZ and a few others) that force us british users to ship a broken psu to netherlands :(.
