why?

How does this pre-paid import fees thing work, is it on particular items?

Had my eye on some Shure alcantara earpads but nobody in the UK seems to stock them.

not entirely sure what it works on, but when you click add to basket and go through with the order, just before checkout it breaks down the total showing the prepaid import tax. click on that and it will explain how it works.

it is not prepaid as such, it is amazon charging you the VAT/customs fees, they say pre paid as if it is different..i.e customs is less than you pay then they refund you...

I buy loads from amazon.com and I have never had any problems, or any money back....

of course it is different, have you ever had to pay import tax? parcelforce will charge you £8 admin fee, sometimes £12!

I have the wired version and theyre fabulous, the freedom of wireless for that price is extremely tempting (so much so Ive ordered!)

glad its helped someone then! thought this would be quite hot considering its nearly £30 cheaper than anywhere in the uk and from a high reputable company at that

loads, thankyou very much, and Amazon don't ever charge a admin fee, oh and you are talking like you are a expert? in that case I am surprised you do not know that you don't have to ever pay a admin fee with any company that delivers first then tries to charge you a admin fee.

Parcelforce hold onto your goods, so you have no choice but all other firms just try it on and it is super easy to get out of it,,, but just to clarify you don't pay anything further with amazon

thats my point, you dont have to pay anything further and they do not charge an admin fee.

mostly like your parcel will be sent through parcelforce so you do not have a choice.

you are just backing my point that prepaying tax with Amazon is different yes.

7.1 surround in a pair of headphones is beyond a joke surely?

Up your a$$?

got these and love em. sound quality is amazing.

Amazingly these only took 6 days to arrive too. Classic rip off Britain!

i bought mine from amazon.com few weeks ago....best purchase ever you wont regret it...so comfortable works even when i go downstairs to make breakfast and i can chat to friends on skype while in the kitchen (downstairs and 2 walls away)...you know that really annoying little hiss you get with analogue headphones and that little tear sounds you get when you move your mouse (people with really sharp hearing will know what i mean) you don't get that with these...details of shipping and **** below:

no chance...you get this little wireless usb thing and you stick that into your pc...i believe ur pc (win 7 for me) pretty much detects it and pulls out the right drivers for it + you download the specific software for this headset from corsair and its really impressive which wont be compatible with ps4
