This going to work nicely with the Ryzen 2600 which keeps appearing here? My components knowledge is about 5 years out of date.

Yes! That will be a good pairing. What motherboard you got? Dual channel is best for Ryzen
Nice price for 16GB!
Great price for CL15, I have the red version and think I paid over £80

Cheers. Not selected one yet, but I don't need anything fancy. Gigabyte B450M DS3H is best seller on Amazon and does what I need so unless something better crops up I'll go with that most likely.

After bad experience with stability I would say *only* get memory that is on the Memory Compatibility list for your motherboard. Ryzen is just too picky so after 2 sets gave constant boot issues and crashing I've got a set from the compatibility list and fingers crossed it's looking promising.

The Ryzen DRAM calculator can help with stability issues. I overclocked my g skill 3000mhz cl16 memory to 3600 cl16 using a motherboard preset. Made it into Windows but crashed instantly when I launched a game. I manually input the settings recommended for my memory in the bios, actually tightening some of the timings, and now it's rock solid.

Never had any luck with that, only moderately reliable way to boot was clocking the RAM down to 28000 and even then it wasn't completely stable. Whereas the RAM that's officially compatible overclocks to 3400 while remaining stable.

B450 would do it. Just make sure you invest in a decent case and plenty of fans. Keeping the VRMS on a lower tier board nice and cool is worthwhile
