I have been using this on my Crosshair VI mobo but I can't seem to get it to overclock above the advertised 3200Mhz (tried ocing to 3400Mhz)even with a voltage increase. This was my first time ocing on ryzen, anything I'm doing wrong?

Have you tried manually tweaking the timings? should give you a nice little preformance bump.
Good price for these particular Ram sticks but the price of the Micron E sticks are cheaper at the minute and are better for performance/OCing. Good price if you want these though

If you up the frequency you'll most likely need to tweak the timings if it's not stable. Higher them slightly. You need to find the right balance of frequency and timings. Maybe try tightening the timings at 3200 instead.

General concensus is tighter timings > faster mem clock right?

Test yourself with membench, memmax, etc. You might find it depends on how tolerant the memory is.

I've been playing with 3800 and 3600MHz with Zen 2. I'm finding 3800 CL16 is giving me better benchmarks and latency compared to 3600 CL14, but I've been messing around much more with the former so I still have more to do.
