Very good price and the best its been in some time for a 2x16GB Kit of 3200MHz DDR4. Pretty much the same price as 3000MHz at other places. Hope it helps someone!

The system I am looking at has Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 3000MHz but I thought that would be fine as it looks like overclocking to 3200mhz ( or beyond) is an absolute doodle? This would be with a 3600x ( or maybe 3800x) on a MSI Tomahawk mobo
I've bought the Corsair vengeance RGB pro 3200mhz ram sticks for a 3900x setup. Should I ditch those for this?

Depends if RGB is important to you?

You might at well go for these only £4 more! I'm running 4 sticks of these at 3200MHz XMP on a 3900X no problem.
Although the Crucials linked about look good too. DDR4 prices are pretty sweet at the moment

Yes but I am looking at a bundle so include 3000mhz only. I cannot believe overclocking 200mhz will be too tricky.

About to build new pc setup. 16gb enough or go with 32gb?

Would say if you can afford it 32 gb would be worth it at the prices now. But it’s unlikely you would need 32gb but means you never have to worry and are future proofed

Really depends what you use your computer for. If you are just a web surfer then 8GB would be fine.
If you are gaming whilst running other things then 16GB gets more comfortable. 32GB will mean you never have to worry!

I personally have 64GB But that's because I do dev work and also run VMs, so memory soon gets used up.
Plus DDR4 is a great price currently. In the past I've wanted to upgrade memory on a system only to find it's really expensive because it's the 'old' version of DDR. So buy the amount that will last you.
Now £117.98
It's currently down to £109.31!
Now £108.99 including delivery.
My thread got deleted to highlight the new price... did not realise hotdeals does this. Anyway glad this has now been updated to reflect new price so hopefully it helps people
just got an email to say my estimated delivery has been bumped from 14th to 5th of December, nice bonus.
told myself i was done with spending for a few weeks, but this was a hard deal to pass on, i paid £160 for this kit about 6 months ago and that was a deal then.
I bought at £153. This is killing me!
