“Upgrading” - troll post surely
Hmmmm. I had to double take when I realised that this was DDR3.

2015 just PM'd. It wants it's RAM back.
DDR3 + 1600mhz = a terrible set of ram for a price where you could get ddr4 corsair vengeance 16gb kit..
Mods, please delete this. This is a horrible price and someone might fall for it.
these with a pentium 400 mhz no catching it.
Yeah, not too say ddr3 is bad if your pc supports it but... I would never spend this on ddr3 now, £24ish for 16gb used and it works the exact same

Great I'll just fit some DDR4 to my Asus Z97 motherboard.
Not a bad price at all if you want ddr3. Maybe not the bargain of the century, but it wasn't long ago that ddr4 was way more expensive and now that ddr3/ddr4 are similar in price it doesn't mean everyone suddenly has mobo to fit those cheap ddr4 sticks into.

I am still using my top of the range Intel ivybridge because it works and I am better off investing money in a gpu apart from that it all works well and will continue to...

Ive found DDR3 is selling for £50+ on ebay so no not half price
Unbelievably irrelevant comments above, if your computer takes DDR3 then this is a good set of RAM.

Okay DDR4 is newer/better but if you motherboard doesn't support it then it would be a waste of time and money to upgrade your motherboard for the little difference it'll make.

Please everyone do ignore the toxic comments above, I know people are bored in this lockdown but come on guys
