True, I bought this kit for £72 at Christmas.

I paired them with an MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX motherboard and the Ryzen 3700X and they have a small issue when A-XMP is enabled... Cold booting problems every time I left the pc of for a few hours, especially when the pc was off overnight it would never boot on the first try in the morning and had to hit the restart button for it to work. After two months of fiddling with it I managed to make the problem go away by setting the SoC voltage to 1,050V.

I got 2 sets of 2x8gb but in white for £140 last year. Also with 3700x but no issues with cold booting

Interesting. I had the same issue with my build but I use a 3600. Gave the CPU a light over clock to 4Ghz and it’s now fine.

I think the motherboard is what causes the issue... What motherboard are you using? Are you sure they aren't the AMD optimised version?
Got a 4x set of these for my 3900x setup. Working fine.

Picked then over the past year when prices were dropping
