Is this gonna be any cheaper before Christmas? (For my build)
Good spot, heat from me.

That's the cheapest they've ever been on the three camels:

You can turn the lights off if you don't want them on. Via the icue software... 🏻

Yes, it will be £20 cheaper in 3 days time...

Seriously though, nobody knows but you can always buy now and if it drops in price buy again and return the original order. You'll prob have until 30th Jan to initiate refund with Amazon.
3600MHZ C18 or 3200MHZ C16?
Thanks just ordered for a new rig I’m building. 🔥🔥🔥

3600MHZ C18 or 3200MHZ C16?

3600mhz CL18 - according to Crucial:

Which is more important: speed or latency?
Based on in-depth engineering analysis and extensive testing in the Crucial Performance Lab, the answer to this classic question is speed. In general, as speeds have increased, true latencies have remained approximately the same, meaning faster speeds enable you to achieve a higher level of performance. True latencies haven't necessarily increased, just CAS latencies. And CL ratings are an inaccurate, and often misleading, indicator of true latency (and memory) performance.

...although if speed is the same, then the lower CL will be the faster memory.

Very interesting, thank you. What if my motherboard only supports up to 3433MHZ ram? I purchased 2x Adata 3200mhz C16 stick a few days ago. Thinking if it would be worth it to return them when they arrive for these? Thanks

As far as I know, the ram will run at the maximum the board itself supports. So your (potential purchase) 3600mhz will be capped at 3433mhz. So its worth asking yourself if its worth the price/performance with 3200mhz or 3433mhz (for 3600mhz money!)

I notice you have four memory modules in your system, did you buy two packs of two of a pack of four. Its just I already have this exact 2X8 memory bought it the other week for £89, I'm tempted to buy this and add it to my system so I have 4x 8, is that wise or should I have bought all four at the same time.

Finger is hovering over the Buy button.

Thank you... I thought that was the case as long as latency and speed is the same, but reading up on ranks etc I started to put myself off.

It is matey, 2 commander pros allow me to control the speed of the fans to majorly only ramp up when cpu temps rise above a certain temp.
Just ordered for XMAS cheers OP
I'm doing my first PC build, just waiting for the new i7 10700k to come out, I will probably pair it with a gtx 2060 super and looking to buy ram now. My build will be mostly for photo/video editing and some light gaming. Do you recommend 3200mhz CL16 or 3600mhz CL18?

Mine is in with a Tomahawk Max and a Ryzen 5 3600X
This or the Patriot Viper Steel 3733 Mhz on a X570 Edge and Ryzen 7 3700X?

I've got it set for the "rain drops" animation at the moment, I was debating doing solid purple to match the theme, will give it a go!

For rain drops animation and solid purple as a colour why not have 'Prince's' Purple Rain playing in the background...it's got to be a sure fire winner!
Just purchased 2 for 32gb setup. Thanks OP.
Nudged over 500 for you
Anyone know a ddr5 that looks that good?

Funny little thing about that iCue stuff - do you know that it adds so much load to your system that it increases a Ryzen 3000's power use by around 5w? This means that the software meant for controlling your fans - the things which you have purely to cool your system and maintain performance - actually increase your temps, while lowering performance by a few %.

The perils of buying hardware from a marketing company.
