Just picked some of this up for a new build. Thought it was a great price for the 3600mhz. A lot cheaper than anywhere else too!

The 'Ryzen Optimised' version is also available here: scan.co.uk/pro…zen
Don't ask me how it's optimised for Ryzen! I have no idea.

Is it 'pro' because of the the RGB as its certainly not for the timings

Timings are generally terrible on the RGB kits because people pay for the lights. 18 CL wouldn't be awful if it was at least 18 across the board but 18-22-22 is rather ridiculous for a "premium" product.

Noticed it on Alza slightly cheaper but not in stock yet. Other prices likely to drop soon though.

Bit of tuning, be grand! You are indeed paying for the lights, but I'm sure you can eek tighter timings out of these if you put in the effort

I always assume that they have binned some complete cack modules and to maximise profits stick them in RGB dimms and therefore you can't count on them going any tighter.
This has been normal price anyway
Absolute steal for a kit! Ryzen 3000 series are reported to run the best with 3600mhz speed ram. The sweet spot! Bargain! I paid £150 during black Friday for a 16gb 3200 kit!

You do know that speed is only one part of the equation when it comes to ram running well course you do

Yes, not exactly going to get excellent CAS ratings for this price. You may be able to squeeze some more out of the timings and an overclock. But for £99 me the average user who may just enable the XMP then this perfect.
