This one is "optimized for amd" basically means it works better with ryzen. They have different chipsets on them which work better memory timing wise.
Shame white isn't in the deal. That'd match existing!
it seems that Corsair rgb kit can now be controlled with Asus / Gigabyte software and not iCue, can anybody confirm if this actually works?

In all honestly I think the difference would be tiny between the 2. I've always just gone with the cheapest and saved a few quid.
