Refurbished USB 2.0 pen drive.
This is one cracking USB pen, the fastest on the market for USB 2.0 standards. 34Mb/s read & upto 28Mb/s write! A brand new stick of this size would normally cost above £50

I bought this baby last night when the price was £21.99. Clearly sales have not quite gone as well as they have hoped so a further reduction has been made. Perhaps it'll go up again after being here.

There's also another bargain from the same page of Corsair GTR 32Gb and 16Gb Survivor refurb for £29.99 check it out!

Blast i just noticed you can get it even cheaper with some of these codes!

Add a 16Gb 16GB Survivor - Refurbished. for £10

Only the 'AMA5' code is working.

proper bargain, great drives

was tempted to order 2 or 3 (or 5..), but just stuck with one, give everyone else a fair go

Quidco(-4%) + AMA5(-5%) = £18.23

Rude not to!

Though I wonder how precisely they refurbish a memory stick >_>

they probably just repackage them tbh

I wonder how a software RAID 0 array of these would perform.... a cheap way of getting SSD-like performance?

went for the dual pack of 32gb & 16gb survivor -5% but got so excited forgot quidco !

I'd been looking for a pen drive for a few weeks now and nearly settled on the XT Rage 16Gb but I didn't really like it's small cheap plastic flimsy affair so I nearly compromised on a Transcend 600 and to rub salt into the wounds I was gonna wait for the shortly released PNY metal key lock Attache with even worse performance just because it were well made & would attach to my key ring without fear of it falling off or breaking. It were a good pre-order price too. Still would like it but this beats em all!

Well I was tempted to bulk buy the whole lot last night LOL!

Very tempted to buy em all

But didnt! Got the dual pack with the surviver, fantastic price!

ouch. that's freaking hot.

Very good price, but just as a warning, most of the reviews on amazon (even one that was positive) say the drives have died, sometimes after just a couple of weeks. Heat added though.

EDIT: Here is a link to the updated firmware, which apparently sorts this problem out :

Tempted but looks a little chunky, always annoying when there is not room to plug them in next to something else.

HOT!
To think I was *this* close to buying a 4gb slow "branded" stick for almost the same price

Well.. It looked pretty
(Slight exaggeration though, I would have left that one and got an even slower Play.com generic one)
Really glad I didn't X)

Anyone know how much boost you get from using ready boost with one of these drives?

HOT! Thank you OP! I think im going to buy 2!

Guess this could be why they are refurbed. You'll always find some duds amongst a package and one does not no how those people handle them. Still if goes wrong has a years warranty.

When I bought my tv some 4/5 years ago I heard of the damn things 'blowing' up - rather than the blue screen of death you'd get a black screen (_;) crossing fingers and touching wood so far still in good working order.

Probably next to none as they are about as theoretically as fast as you can get for the 2.0 interface.

ordered thanks.

is it Refurbished?

excellent deal. just wondering whether to order more than one tho... hmmmm

huh. doesn't say anything about refurbished status: how they came undergo this process and what the process consisted of. humm. tempted but don't like the lack of info.

Thanks OP - already got another HUKD 32GB drive which I rarely use but this is a bargain that I could not resist! Dunno what could make them refurbished though?

Very good price, always based high memory USB drives at £1 per gig.

Hot - ordered 1

I hope it's in good nick!

I have a 8Gb Survivor that recently died after 4 years of use. Corsair have a 10 year warranty on them. A new one arrived by FedEx about 3 weeks after returning the dead one. You can't say fairer than that really. (I don't know what having bought it as "refurbished" might do to that though).

Yes, they are chunky, but they feel nice in the hand! If you are worried about USB port space, when new they come with an extension cable so they can go anywhere.

What are Refurbished Products?
Refurbished Products are products that are returned to the manufacturer due to technical issues or they have failed the quality control process. All products undergo a stringent quality refurbishment process by the manufacturer to ensure they are "as new" when sold to our customers.

Refurbished Product:
is fully tested.
is refurbished with replacement parts for any defective modules identified in testing.
is put through a thorough cleaning process and inspection.
is repackaged (including appropriate manuals, cables, new boxes, etc.).
is placed into a Final QA inspection prior to being added to sellable
refurbished stock.

Refurbishment procedures follow the same basic technical guidelines as Finished Goods testing procedures.

What should I expect when I purchase a Refurbished Product?
- Substantial savings
- A fully functional unit with complete documentation
- The assurance that the unit meets quality standards, and that its defective components have been replaced

The majority of refurbished items sold on our site carry a 1 Year Warranty but please check individual products for full warranty details.

Who's gonna send me £21.99 then

Thanks, I've been looking for a new USB and this seems to fit the bill very nicely

Great Find!

Just ordered one, hope those are legit Corsair flash drive.

scorching hot

Cracking deal! Seems a fantastic price for branded kit.

These are great until all of a sudden they die! Stop working! You have to return them to the USA for the lifetime guarantee!
