300 ml bottle

£3.40 on the website

Use with caution, it will stain your teeth badly, its really only useful if you have gum problems.

Good price but this stuff is vile to swish for the whole minute.

the best in my opinion.better than that Listerine

My heart skipped a beat when my 'free alcohol' deal alert came up. Disappointed now. Pah!!

3.40 in my local price checked aswell

Stained my teeth badly, apparently does to about 10% of people so as above, use with caution.

My dentist also said to use an hour after brushing, can't remember why

I believe the components of toothpastes reduce the mouthwash's action.

for those who spit blood.

Very true!

I use to use Corsodyne for gum problems but my teeth turned yellow. A visit to the hygeist revealed it is a known issue with this brand of mouthwash.. OMG...

Cold, no alcohol

Good price but you can get the generic version from Home Bargains for a quid all the time

OK, thanks. I'll take a look.

Just a word of warning to users of this. It is recommended NOT to be used permanently as a mouthwash as it'll eventually corrode the gums. I think it's best to use a bottle full and if bleeding continues, then go see a dentist about it.

Ditto - it's a handy one to have in the cupboard but should be treated as if it's a medicine - for when you have a problem.
If you do need to use it, and end up with stained teeth - for me it was in the gaps - the hygienist can remove them.

Be warned, this discolours teeth very very badly. You are better off getting some inter-dental brushes and using them everyday.

prevention is better than cure

Good deal.

Found some in Thamesmead store. Shelf price said 85p

You are not supposed to use this every day because it will stain your teeth. They do a more dilute version called daily defense that you can use every day. It works and has reduced my problem gums. I'd recommend the use of this an hour or so after brushing teeth because residues from toothpaste stop this working.

Had to use this for 8 weeks when i broke my jaw and was wired up,that was 30 years ago!Still hate the taste but its good stuff.

Bear in mind this stuff regular use is not good for teeth. I used to use this every day or other day, I noticed mild staining on my teeth and consulted a dentist, first thing question was do I use the corsodyl mouthwash. Now that I have stopped regular use my teeth dont get the same staining now. Not saying this is bad, just that you shouldn't use regularly (no more than a couple times a week.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but extensive use may cause staining...:{

At that price it is an absolute bargain , buy it if you see it. Handy to keep in the bathroom cabinet, you do not have to use it every day unless you get gum problems. Thanks Op , I hope they have some left tomorrow!

Also affects your taste so prepare to not enjoy your food as much if you use this stuff.

I have bleeding gums, so I use this often. But, if you guys are saying that it causes teeth to go yellow, what should I use instead?

excellent thx

You should go to the dentist if your gums bleed so often.
