Yup I bought some from the Hemel Hempstead store on Thursday 23rd at this price.

Costa Coffee in any form should be ignored IMHO. Not only are there much better coffees around - Illy, Lavazza etc, they are the ultimate rip off merchants on the High Street even though people go in their droves. More fools them. There needs to be much more support for independent coffee shops

Yeah there should be more for all small businesses. But at least Costa gives people jobs and adds something to high streets. I personally like their Tassimo pods the best and I have tried all of them.

each to thier own i guess but getting back on subject....great coffee at a good price ! voted hot and kept my option to myself about coffee shops

At least you know you get decent coffee at Costa not like rubbish some shops serve up ,we always go there if we don't know the area

I'd say Costa is a little better than Starbucks, but I tend to buy the Taylors ground coffee, they have a pretty wide variety and most of them are great. Bought a tin of this about a year ago for £4, and felt it was a bit overpriced for what it is, not bad for this price I suppose. Plus I still use the tin for storing my Taylors coffee :P

These "tins" are plastic in case anyone's thinking of reusing them like Illy tins.

This is rubbbish coffee, same as costa coffee with a waste water like taste

Starbucks is too mild for my taste, but Costa is just about right, that's in the shops not sure about their ground coffee from supermarkets though! Above all, illy and Lavazza are the best.

The lid is plastic, but the rest of it is tin, no? At least that's the case with the one I bought and am currently re-using.

Yup, it's tin, with a plastic lid.

Yes it's a good container for coffee storage....as someone has already commented great to store your Taylors at 2 for a fiver in Asda.

I thought this was an instant coffee, such a muppet

Have to return it 2mro.

What a stupid comment....

If you watched the prog last night on BBC 2 about coffee production in Vietnam ..where they grow the rubbish beans that go into the likes of Nescafe and other instant coffees you'd be convinced that quality produced ground coffee is the way to go...that's of course if you really care that coffee should in fact taste like coffee!!...if instant is your choice so be it..

really bad coffee.. in the shop and in this form, was very disappointed.

fix

What a stupid comment....

You can buy a small cafetiere for a few quid. I'd rather do that than drink instant muck.

Cheers for the info... As if I didn't know that.

I have a Tassimo machine already.

I have a filter machine and drink ground, and it is far better than instant... but there's no need to be an annoying coffee snob...
