Looks excellent quality but the thickness may cause problems with door clearance etc. Heat added all the same.

Really good quality but like Bellboys said, very thick. My whole ground floor has this fitted and looks great.. 10 year commercial warranty too.. Great find and price...

Agreed. Plus being the idiot I am i completely forgot that includes the underlay
Think this is the stuff in my living room. Cant be sure it was laid before we bought the house. If it is, doing ok after 6.5 years with us and I suspect a few with previous owners.
Fitted this just before Christmas. It’s amazing quality, very thick. Did have to plain the doors but on the grand scheme of things, it’s no biggie. Looking at something similar in B&Q is twice the price and that’s not even including the underlay. I’d highly recommend it.
Is this the only colour?
This stuff is good, done 3 rooms now, my thoughts..

Check the packaging carefully, my last batch had some damage at the same spot on a few packs, possibly from banding or lifting - yes it can go back but I was 200 miles from Costco and luckily it
only affected the final few inches on the boards.

Occasionally there's a small thin tab that sometimes breaks off and makes the joint at the corner stick up very slightly, it's worth removing the board again and removing the loose tab.

The insulation being bonded to the board makes these boards very simple to lay - but the claimed board thickness includes the insulation - yes the boards are thick, but the claimed 14mm is a bit misleading.
Anyone know the average cost of paying a fitter for something like this per square meter? or day? - North West region
Yea you know this is going to be shi*e
It's seriously good stuff. You just need some thick plastic under it as a vapour barrier.

Depends on your sqm2
Most lams are 8mm then you need a 5 mm underlay the thickness is about right. Just bought some tawny chestnut from wickes. This is a steal...

For some strange reason, I am inclined to trust the opinion of those who actually purchased and fitted it, and to completely disregard your baseless comment.
Bought 44 boxes at the weekend and getting laid soon. Great deal!

That's one way to get laid, I suppose
Got it at same price in July and just finished laying all 5 rooms. Really good quality. I have to return only 2 out of 55 boxes as could not click them. May be due to weather moist issues.

An excellent product and very well made.
Can anyone tell me if costco will deliver this and if so how much do they charge?
Butters a Chippie will charge you £20 - £25 a pack .
Try a local handyman, they bring that down by £5-10 a pack .

How do you saw off thickness?

If you even need to ask, I’d get someone in.
Note: I didn’t specify what to cut.

I paid a guy £100 for a 4sq fitting.

Fitted really well and the floor is quality. I did also use a moisture barrier underlay too.

No delivery if you buy instore. You need to pick it up yourself.
We managed to pick it up in two cars which was a hassle but worth the price

Mmmmm, the door won’t clear the floor. If only there was something we could adjust the height of, make shorter even.

Brilliant, cheers for your professional input. As I previously said, I’ve fitted it already and it’s good quality. Looked at a lot before deciding on it and if my misses approved it well. Maybe you should go and check it out before talking one pile of..... yourself.

What ever mate.
Hi guys I just bought these for my flooring. Was wondering from those of you who already have then installed when laying then down do you use a tapping block to make the joint flush with each board or do we simply place them down and allow a 'gap' to remain between each board?

Thank you any advice is much appreciated

Yeh for a ground floor and it wasn't majorly needed. For upstairs you wouldn't need it. Quality flooring btw
