    Early in the morning usually at Leicester. If I go about 8am its ok, last night the queues was the length of the car park again

    Yes i agree, early morning is the best time to go when parents are on the school run or off to work. Evenings are the worst time to go.

    Website shows that price in Sheffield too. The queues are unreal though.

    You can check the prices in the Costco app - they're not the same at every branch.

    Sometimes the App says one thing, you turn up and its a different price. The App for Haydock is showing £1.42, its actually £1.39 for unleaded, and has been for around a week.

    A paid membership helps towards razor thin margins. Plus you're likely to pop in for the customary £100+ trolley full of stuff I didn't need in the same visit. (edited)

    Was £1.39 at Haydock last week, I find Costco fuel to be amongst the cheapest near me, they never rose to the stupid prices everywhere else did a few months back.

    Thought I'd take a photo as I left the place. My local garage near Fordingbridge is £1.83p. The discrepancy is really annoying.

    Alas my photo wasn't good enough to get the diesel price... But, even if you only go once, fill up a relatively decent car AND buy membership your still going to be saving money !!

    Next time I go I'll get a better photo. When I need fuel, I go and do a small shop at Costco and then fill up with fuel. When I look at my local fuel prices I kinda think I'm getting free food ! (edited)
