Richer Sounds will. £1779.98 I bought this today from them. You will need proof of your Costco membership and they'll include their 6 year gurantee and if it drops lower over BF they'll refund the difference

Scare mongering, screen burn is very rare unless you’re watching a picture with a static image for a long period.

Also if your a gamer then the c9 is a must with its 12ms input lag and 120hz 4k VVR. Compared to AG8 which has gone up this year to 32ms. It all depends what your after in a tv. If it's purely just movies then maybe the AG8 edges it but if it's a little of everything, movies, tv, apps, Netflix, amazon prime, gaming, specs then the c9 is the way to go. I forgot to say the Sony also beats the lg with motion.

I currently have a Sony and I don't mind the android, yes it can be laggy, but native android I like than having to faff with more remotes.

This TV would mainly be for movies, TV, Netflix. Using a soundbar for sound so not fussed about sounds quality for the TV itself.

Stopped playing on my ps4 a while back when I built the below set up, paired it with a Alienware AW3418DW - flawless gaming

Great deal. Thanks for the share
Tempting as I always wanted an OLED next, was between this or a 75" Q90R as 77" oled is too expensive at £7,000
Dunno wether to hold out and wait for the Sony A8G 65" to come down in a price or go for this!
Tempting.... Got a trigger finger now.... Must hold..... Nooooooo.

The A8 65 in Costco is around 1900 atm, I know Costco are doing a black friday voucher, £10 off a £100 spend - saw it being advertised earlier in the week on a monitor next to the black friday stand in the local. What to do, what to do.

Easy. Do you care for lossless audio (atmos that is? Go with the C9 as it has eARC.

Do you care for native Android TV? Then Sony

Not too sure mate, I know the code is "blackfriday10" - the guy would let me look at the screen fully, think he was getting it set up but wasn't supposed to show it lol. All I saw was £10 off £100 - prob similar conditions to last years code

The only thing the AG8 does better than the C9 is the upscaling for 1080p and lower. IMO the c9 is a much better overall tv, not to mention future proofed with FULL HDMI 2.1 support.

Yeah. This is why I'm buggered with regards to which to go for.

C9 = hdmi 2.1, no android
AG8 = no 2.1, but has android.

Why me

Black Friday or boxing day ? And where

Don't think so. I was in the market for one up to black Friday and afterwards. Ended up getting a price match from JL against the only site close to 1600 at 1641. Paid 2800 to JL Inc 5 year warranty. And then claimed the difference back. Also ended up with 58 CB via Quidco and 1% CB from my Amex. So ended up getting it for around 1570. Absolute bargain and a great TV. The site they price matched was shut down not long after. They were apparently taking CC payments but then saying the payments were not being authorised and asking customers to pay direct from their bank accounts. Dodgy.
As for this ide defo bite. Will it be cheaper BF or in Jan Sales? Maybe a little. Heat added.

Ah that's a shame. If the prices are falling this fast already and we're still 2 weeks away from Black Friday there's still plenty of time for them to get competitive. Fingers crossed for you.
Thanks mate. To be honest I have spent far too long considering different options and prices. I’m still unsure which set will be best for me.

Guess at this point I’m waiting for the price to decide for me
