My 13.3" inch screen is a 1440p amoled and I love it. There will always be laptop makers filling up the bottom end of the market flogging 1366*768 screens even in 2018. It's time to start pushing the upper end of the market forward by buying stuff like this and if battery life sucks we'll take it on the chin like we have done with smart phones for a few years.

That's no good to me

Plus 1% cashback if using a Costco AMEX card, and a further 2% if an Executive Costco member!.

1800p does sound absurd for a 13.3" but certainly makes a difference.
I recently compared my Zenbook with a 1080p XPS 9370 and the screen on the Dell looked surprisingly low-res.

Scales nicely to 1600x900 for light gaming on the Intel GPU.

Just interested or do you prefer more of less?

Some people still have video recorders to play back very old recordings. Old people have many such recordings.
I still have a VCR, although I have not used it for 10 years. This not to say these people do not have DVD/Blue ray players or other devices. Legacy connections are useful. Old Sky boxes have scart sockets. I have 4 Sky boxes in the house. 3 are used as Freeview boxes. One is connected via Scart. of course I would not use the Scart on this model unless I wanted to use the VCR. I may do so to view baby recordings!

It's not a 10bit panel, and is just a smart TV with a 4K panel. The Hisense is the same, no 10bit, but with a 4K panel. The difference in quality will be negligible to the human eye even side by side.£600 for the 65N5300 is extremely good value for screen size. Probably the best I've seen. The quality looked great in my local Costco store. Just a shame I'd bought a Samsung MU7000 only a month ago, although that is a very nice TV and has HDR so I'm still pleased with it.

Not sure about this mattress, seems a good price though. We just got the EVE delivered from the Amazon Boxing Day sale @£400, would certainly recommend it.

Mattress is a personal choice and you spend a long time in it, don't rely on others opinions when your sleep is at stake.

I went through 4 mattresses in 4 years. Standard one, memory foam (like sleeping in an oven, horrendous), John Ryan 1k job (too soft and too hot), the Hypnos hotel mattress (I like a firm bed but that was rock hard). In the end, after much expense, we tried a Simba like the link above suggests is the best mattress. It's a little firm on side sleeping, perfect for back sleeping. We gave it the 100 day trial and kept it.

we used to have these they were OK but over long term its no good imo. would use for a guest room as i suppose it would be OK for sparse use

This will be perfect for my downstairs toilet!

I bought the 43" variant today.... it seemed to tick the boxes but then having got it home I wasn't so sure....

Blacks were non-existent.... changing the settings didn't really help. There seemed to be ghosting as well on Freeview HD changes. 4K Netflix didn't look bad but I could adjust the picture settings whilst using Netflix..... that is really annoying.

Then I tried the Smart features and I found the menu system was sooooo laggy and slow.....

In other ways, such as connectivity and sound the TV was OK, but I'd be interested to know if anyone else has noticed these problems - as it stands it looks like I'll be returning it to Richer Sounds.
