Same price in Leeds for the last month.

Great price for a great whisky, but only for costco :/

This is the same in the Birmingham CostCo as well I think (a friend bought a bottle at that price for his Brother two weeks back) so I would assume it's nationwide. I wasn't sure whether that was the standard CostCo price or a sale price so never bothered to post it here.

Slightly better than the standard Costco price. I assume they're doing the £3 off instant saving that happens every now and then. Its a good price.

Standard Costco price. Wholesale v retail.

Ok so I agree with you to an extent in that some people are gifted and perhaps therefore better equipped to be successful in certain professions - some which pay handsomely (like the idiots kicking a ball around for 90 minutes I just witnessed.) However, if you can become a millionaire by being able to make a condiment like reggae reggae sauce, surely there’s hope for us normal folk?

I didn’t say anything about intelligence mate... someone stupid born into wealth stands a far better chance than someone intelligent born into poverty.

So want require sole intelligence to become well off, hard work is far greater importance

(lol) I love the fact you’re complaining about people spending money on sky, fags and booze as a reason for not having a £3.5k tv! I suspect that most people who have that money to spare wouldn’t be spending it on this. I bought a projector for a fraction of the money that gives me an 100” Hd picture, which makes spending this seem ridiculous by comparison imo. If you’re not trolling then I apologise, but I do think you’re naive in your view that anyone can earn lots of money. Not all people are created equal

Maybe if you got out and did things you'd be able to buy one as well.

Sd looks pants on anything other than a 5 inch smart phone lol. I avoid watching anything in sd if I can lol. But great tv for 399 as you say. Even sound is decent.

Hd does look great though. The build quality is great also. For 399 the tv is a steal. Just SD is bad but maybe you're right all tvs this size, sd isn't going to good.

At moment I have it set as cinema and not changed anything. I have my tv coming from hdmi via an enigma 2 satellite box. The picture is stunning on hd and don’t look too bad on sd either. I don’t watch much sd stuff anyhow. My box is a zgemma 4K one so resolution is set to same as tv. Not sure if that makes a difference compared to freeview built in as never use it. To be honest though sd is never gonna look anything other than rubbish now on a big screen. About time all channels were hd.

WHat settings did you use, because SD looks absolutely horrendous

John Lewis never price matched this today

Hi there, I found out of the wife it was actually £12k (was getting confused as a lot of haggling and also porch being done by the same people at the same time). Still a lot I know, but it would mean a lot more disruption and living in the SE (even though not a posh area) I don't think we could get it done for the same cost. Thanks Mark.

Remove the old conservatory and start again with an extension, I would have thought £15K would be enough to pay for one unless you live in an expensive area were builders think you have to much money.

That was one of about 6 quotes and also a lot of haggling as well over several weeks. Its quite a big conservatory and the roof is very well insulated (massive blocks of insulation) with a couple of windows in the roof as well. Also it's not just adding tiles to the old roof it's totally ripping it off and an Edwardian metal/wood frame with massive custom made insulation blocks put in (making the actual insulation for the roof 10+ inches thick). Must admit I would have thought we could have got them down a little more, but afraid not. It also includes bricking up the fan windows either side, plastering the sides, roof and also installing 9 spotlights and connecting them up as well. I think it's worth the money if we can actually use it all year round.

I know - tell me about it. Thats why I wish we had built one to start with. It will be nice when it's finished hopefully as still got the big patio doors all across with a window either side in the new roof.

How about an orangery - lots of windows, large glass roof. A little more expensive again but useable all year and look great.

Seems like a sale and not a listing error

World cup vr. If you get one of the limited places. It will probably be pretty good with noise cancelling headphones

To be fair I assumed it would be V2 (did't know how to tell) and I didn't realise the Game deal has the camera so apologies for that. However it probably is V2 despite the photo as Costco are likely to be supplying the latest version and the other reason for posting is their customer service is outstanding in the sense that you can return it no matter what and they will often offer goodwill etc. So still a valid post with caveats in my opinion.

Heat from me

Yeah. This is a pointless post. Sorry

COSTCO PANASONIC TX-50EX700B 50" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV - £329.99 instore / £395.98 inc. VAT

This is the best priced 50" , seen at Costco Wembley

I bought this this from JL. So far all good pic quality great. Good sound No complaint st all.

It previously had voucher taking price down to same price as Costco. It’s now increased in price.

Isn't it £500 at RGB?

I've got the 58" version of this and think it's amazing. Yes no 10bit panel and all of that but 4K HDR games on the Xbox One X look insane.

To save £4.02? I can only imagine that you live very close to Costco or very far away from JL

Oops. Haha. Scratch previous reply - just noticed that this Sony is the 2018 model so that price is totally justified. My bad :)

Where is all this from? Bearing in mind that What HiFi is basically as reliable as the Daily Mail. Not saying untrue, it’s just that B7s colour gradation and dark performance is..well.. flawless.

I have mine positioned just above the door frame

Thanks but don't you need one near bedrooms also as I'm assuming people are most vulnerable to poisoning whilst asleep? Do you have one alarm on each floor?

Not exactly, this is bad advice. Agreed, CO is lighter than air, but not by much, but given the air in a living area is generally constantly moving, it disperses more evenly throughout the room rather than rising to the ceiling, unlike smoke. Mine is positioned at sitting height in the living room.

I keep mine in the kitchen drawer now as the alarm constantly sounds when I keep it next the gas boiler. So annoying!

Each to their own I suppose. I wouldn't call hikvision kit (rebadged or not) inferior though, they've overtaken dahua as the market leader

Thats EOL 1 year warranty, without cables or HD and although another OEM HiVision (their older stuff) I'd still say Swan is better especially when you are talking security and IP cameras. Time you have added the extras as a cost its a lot more and for an arguably inferior brand with EOL support. I'd go the Costco deal. Not saying the deal you found is bad just Costco is better for my needs.

Of course it's IP... it's PoE. Granted you have to sort yourself out a HDD but still a better value deal than this

We bought a similar Swann kit from Costco a couple of years ago for £200; can't remember the model but it will have been lower spec. Had no issues with it and picture quality is good. Best thing is that Costco have an excellent returns policy if you want to take it back.

That wouldn't be IP based and comparable or have a hard drive in the PVR. Nearest comparable on that site is the 4 x HikVision + PVR no hard disk, mounting bracket or cables £257 time you've added these its nearer £350.

Lavazza Qualita Coffee 500g x 2 £8.99 @ Costco

Lavazza Qualita 2 x 500g packs Ground Blend: 70% Arabica, 30% Robusta Medium roast Suitable for all coffee makers Minimum purchase of 2

Promise I'm not a coffee snob, but am one of those who knocks back at least 4 cups a day so do appreciate the quality stuff - perhaps a reaction to being raised on real cr^p instants! Would not turn my nose up at the blends (some may even prefer), but suggest try a blind comparison taste test and I'm sure like many you would be won over

First time learning about this, does the 30% make a difference in your opionin?

but, as colonelblightyhas pointed out, 500g are £3.49 in-store (personally, I'd rather have smaller pack for freshness)

Prefer the Kirkland own brand at Costco makes better coffee.

Bought this 18mos ago as the full set plus headboard. Always reluctant to recommend something as specific as comfort but this is the best i have ever slept on. Costco delivered and assembed with their "white glove" service which is as good as it gets, and free, what more could you want?

Way the site issadly

Though I like Amazon, Costco customer satisfaction guarantee makes this a better deal. We bought a cheap mattress from them last year it was awful but we didn’t send it back within the first 14 days as we hoped it would soften. after trying to get used to it we bought toppers but it was no good after 10 months Costco took it back no questions asked. We replaced it with this one excellent mattress very comfortable.

Don’t know why being voted cold? We got the super king a few months back from Costco.....great so far and was similar price. Heat OP!

Not the same mattress. Costco offering to recycle old bed and take new mattress into any room of choice.
