So a drop of £10.01 from the published "Warehouse Deal" of £569.99 ex VAT? That would come to £671.98, a drop of £12 incl VAT from the OP price. Every penny counts. Thanks for the info MTTM.

The beauty of Costco is that they have the best returns policy of any store.

Is this the new range? How many nits this has? As I noticed hisense tv's are a bit dull compared to similar range popular brands?

I'm still confused I'm afraid. The link in the top RH corner of the Costco site "Warehouse Deals" is labelled "Coupons 07th August - 27th August 2017 " in my Browser tab, and the blurb speaks of vouchers on the reverse (not showing in my non-member version).

I assume this only applies to the deals labelled as vouchers with the discount amount "Off" displayed. No such discount shows on the OP in-store offer nor on the on-line offers. My question therefore is can a non-member get this offer in-store? If so can a member get it cheaper? Or is this offer only available for members shopping in-store?

Cheap or expensive? I've had cheap Lenovos fall apart and expensive ones …Cheap or expensive? I've had cheap Lenovos fall apart and expensive ones last forever. Same with HP, Dell, any other manufacturer. Fans wear out regardless of manufacturer though, a cheap sleeve-bearing fan lasts about 3.5 years and gets noisier as it ages. Worth replacing since it's maybe £10 worth of parts. More expensive and longer lasting ball bearing ones (5.5 years lifespan) will be in use on higher end models.

The first one was around £800 the other two were around the £1000. Had the same issue with Sony. The only ones that lasted have been dell for me. But they are very pricy

Not voting it cold, but the 8GB RAM would be a bit of a show stopper for me personally. I'd like to see 16GB in there.

512GB SSD is fine and upgradable in the future if required, though less so of a requirement these days as so much stuff can be cloud based.

I've an Envy 13 too. An i7 variant with the 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.

Fantastic machine, however i would flag that ram isnt upgradable (i suspect this is the same). I'm used to Dell and older HP machines where you could simply drop more in.

I have a set of these, yes they are expensive but if you have invested into the apple eco system they work flawless across most apple devices. With the new Apple TVOS adding in full support for these as well Not sure but until recently a long wait to order from Apple. But yes expensive

PAUL73311 h, 2 m ago

I love apple products but why the hell are these so exspensive?

It has something to do with the tech inside and the way they pair with your mobiles. Cheap bluetooth headphones are no comparison and other third party earphones with similar tech cost as much or even more.

Having said that, these sound no better than the crap wired earphones Apple bundles with its iDevices. You pay a lot for the wireless tech. Maybe the price will drop in a couple of years as the technology improves and matures. Early adopters always pay a lot to beta test for the rest of us.

I like apple kit had an ipod since they arrived on our shores...typing on an ipad mini now...but £150 for wireless earbuds.... i think i will pass on that one

I was sceptical, I got some, they are amazing. Haters gonna hate, I actually have some and they're the best headphones I've ever had. I've had loads trying to get the perfect set, these aren't far off.

Bought one recently when they were £79 (JL and Amazon). It's a great …Bought one recently when they were £79 (JL and Amazon). It's a great printer. Epson must be taking a loss on this and assume they will make it up on the cartridges. As well as USB and Wifi it also has wired ethernet for those that prefer that. I put compatible cartridges in mine and they work fine. I then went to put the ones in that came with the printer and it refused to accept them saying they can only be used the very first time the printer is switched on! That's a bit annoying as I wanted to see how the original and clone cartridges compared. I have heard stories of Epson updating the firmware of their printers to stop compatible cartridges working so I was a bit concerned buying a new printer in case it had already been updated. Fortunately it hadn't. I've got the MAC of mine blocked at my firewall just in case, but I'm concerned an update might still get through e.g. the PC could do the update! Anyway just a thought to bear in mind if you like to use compatible cartridges.

My 760 is ok. Been using it with compatible cartridges for 2 years. Really cheap ones on Amazon. Think the paper makes a bigger difference than the ink.

I used to have an epson stylus 760 that was always getting blocked nozzles, I learnt from that printing a page every week or so would stop the ink in the head drying out and clogging, avoiding the need for frequent head cleaning.

We've had a Epson PX-720 photo printer for several years now, and only had blocked nozzles on about three occasions, only one of them was bad, but was caused by an under-filled, premium branded compatible cartridge running out of ink while its chip still showed more than half full, which caused an airlock.

When I buy compatible cartridges for epson printers, I now weigh them, unless they are transparent, to spot under filled ones.

With the ink I'm currently using in my refillable carts, it never seems to clog, so I don't currently even need to bother to print a test page so frequently, but that said, the photo quality is not quite as good as with genuine epson ink, and the epson ink is more resistant to moisture and smudging, so I intend to buy better ink next time.

The one thing that does really annoy me about my current Epson printer is the paper feed is poor, it doesn't work well when the paper cartridge is nearly empty and is really bad picking up and feeding photo paper other than Epson, and exceptionally bad with cheap photo paper that is only coated on one side. At least this printer seems to have a rear feed tray, which should avoid some of the problems mine has, including wrapping thick paper through 180 degrees.

Epson - blocked nozzles and frequent cleaning cycles.
Refuses to print because "the cartridge chip is telling it its empty"

Not buying another!

I had three previous Epson photo printers and always issues with blocked nozzles and patchy pics. Shame they charge so much for cartridges. My only other Epson is a bulk ink system one, the 165 I think, never had blocked nozzles.
