Just got the 50PUS7383/12 for £449 from a&o with the eBay 15 discount ,

gsj87

Remember that you need to have an active Costco membership for the full duration of the warranty period. I double checked this in store last week.

foolsgold99

Agreed, c’mon the 7 series... a wee 55” will do me dandy!

ms2005

I guess that depend on whether you have a membership already or not. Might be worth the extra cost for the warranty mind. Still waiting on 7 series reductions.

Looks like need to pay £33.60 for individual membership to get this in store and to qualify need to be a public servant or chartered and unfortunately I’ve got a proper job. So the £119 on Amazon is a better deal right now?

Knoxen

Using charge 3 now with no issues on my 3t.

stevem999

Android Oreo and Pie don't work with most Fitbits, Inc Charge 3. Notifications, Bluetooth pairing etc just don't work. Fitbit have acknowledged it over 6 months ago but no fix issues, rendering devices mostly useless. This price is good but be aware if you're an Android user.

If you can wait, Hisense has announced a very interesting new TV called the ULED XD. It will have 2 x LCD panels placed on top of each other, one monochrome and the other, 4k colour. Apparently this provides superb contrast, deep blacks and high brightness levels. No prices yet but I assume/hope they will be cheaper than OLED's. https://www.oled-info.com/hisenses-new-uled-xd-technology-uses-dual-lcd-panels-achieve-high-contrast

michaeljjj

I’m gonna wait for the philips 55PUS9104/12 But it’s really hard when I don’t know when it’s available or the price. Presumably it will be a bit more expensive than this Tv at £470 and less than Oled 803 at around £1,400. But I’ve no experience of the initial cost of new TVs. Any help appreciated.

Sweet mary. I just purchased yesterday using a price match refund from John Lewis at 1629. Do you guys think i can claim on that again to match at this price?

fridayhero

Thanks for the info guys.

umar88

I don't mean broken into. I'm talking about accidental damage. Some of them stick out so much they get caught everywhere and snap. They look like glued on and therefore not as good as ones which are almost flush built in.

there-is-no-spoon

If it's going to be broken into then regardless of whichever bag you have, it’s going to be broken in

umar88

That's what worries me too. I see broken locks all the time.

internetbrowser

Funny enough, the ones who get into your bags are the customs people and they'll get into these zip style bags using just a pen at times

Uranus

Double wheels on this compared to singles on the Bon Air. Not sure how significant the difference. Hmm... difficult decision

These are just fire safes, far too thin steel and with rubbish locks and hinges to keep out a serious thief, the guy in this video has more trouble getting through the plastic lining :)

Homebase had these for a real bargain price when the buy out was first muted...2 mins of research sent me to that video so I never bothered in the end...shame as they look pretty decent to the uninitiated (annoyed)

Correct.quite a lot of people think it’s all bought in already made.most of the stuff we make on a daily basis is prepared at 4 in the morning(cafe, bakery etc)for opening at 10

paulandpam1

I picked a pack of these up today from my local Costco and can confirm my earlier comment about them not being the same as the cafe supplied bakes but what I didn't know and actually seen happening today was the cafe bakes are hand made and filled / rolled up in the store by the cafe staff.

I got this laptop shortly after it came out, mostly because of the 4gb graphics card. Native gaming was ok, a bit slower than the other 1050 I had and it can't do vr as the graphics output has to go through the onboard. Overpriced for what it is worth imo. Worth it for around the £425-450 but no more really.
