About this deal

Count Ossie is the central character in the development of Rastafarian roots music, nowadays an almost mythical and iconic figure. His importance in bringing Rastafarian music to a populist audience is matched only by Bob Marley's promotion of the faith internationally in the 1970's. The Mystic Revelation of Rastafari formed in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1970, a union of Count Ossie's Rastafarian drummers - variously known as his African Drums, Wareikas or his Afro-Combo - and the saxophonist Cedric Im Brooks' horns group, The Mystics.

Yeah, definitely looks like the same release. Amazon states '1 disc version' but lists all 12 tracks... I've ordered and hope its the 2xlp as its a bargain if so and sounds great from what I've heard. Thanks!

Showing my ignorance here but never heard of him / them. Had a quick listen on YouTube to Run More Mile and bought the album on the strength of it. Cheers for posting
It's pretty heavy roots - won't be for most people or even many people but at this price it's worth a punt even if it's just to try something new.

Arrived superb pressing 2lp set but no download code tho
Got mine today, haven't opened it yet. Sometimes the code is on the inner sleeve cover of soul jazz releases..
