I wish they'd stop pricing things in pounds - those Metric Martyrs need a slap. Do people still think in pounds and ounces in 2016?

Certainly do, and I am quite a traditionalist when ordering a beer as I find asking for 568 ml of bitter quite a mouthful

£3.60 a pound / £6 a kilo

Umm, roughly 2.2 pounds in a kilo. Since when did 2.2 x 3.6 = 6?

That is the price for the sealed packets on the shelf.

This thread is for the fishmonger counter.

Even though my local Tesco is one of biggest Extras in the country, the fish counter is tiny and doesn't have the cod fillet offer referred to here. Very frustrating.
