Amex is for Tax scammers and Aristocrats, most of the time they are the same.

Also worth checking your Amex account online to load them if they show (a lot easier)...

I've got 3 Amex cards... but I'm no tax scammer or aristocrat... I'm a penny pincher and proud of it... and if these offers help me get more bang for my buck, then hell yeah!!!

10-15 quid at a time saving on my Amex's... I'll be royalty soon... or maybe I should just take the easy way out and marry Pippa! Aristocracy, my ass (or hers!)

No TopShop on my offers...

Nothing like a sweeping generalisation.

I have an Amex and I'm socialist left to the core, I'm an average wage earning family guy.

They never make a penny out of me, but give so much back in offers and cashback that helps me treat my family to something nice once every year.

If you can get something for nothing out of the banks and financial institutions that have robbed everyday working people and taxpayers for years then why not.

Thanks

Love all these offers from Amex without having to pay them a penny - the money spent on the actual merchants is more of a need/binge thing - but thats a separate issue

Thanks OP

Always handy to combine these Amex deals with other vouchers/offers....

GAP

If you visit the GAP website and sign up to the newsletter you'll get an email linking you to a voucher than can be used in store or online for 30% off the new collection until Monday inclusive....you might get away instore with just showing this image (just make sure your overall spend is still £50 or more)...

TOPSHOP

10% off code for use online - hotukdeals.com/vou…792
Edited by: "morgie" 5th Sep 2014

I posted a separate deal covering the Gap Amex spend plus 30% off voucher, hope that's ok - hotukdeals.com/dea…412 Credited you Gulz for this Amex Fashion Week post.

Also, picked up a £50 giftcard in Topshop. Was told it can be used at any of the Arcadia group stores and is valid for 2 years. Based on previous Amex offers giftcards have been fine, I'll post back to confirm when the credit statement shows up.

£15 credit showing up on my online statement already for the giftcard purchase. Seems like a good buy with the wider range of the Arcadia groups stores to spend with.

Does this apply to Topman or just Topshop?

I think you'll be fine at either. I purchased the giftcard at my local store in the TopShop side.... But on my statement it shows as Topman both for the transaction and credit.

So I have to get the giftcard for the £15 statement credit?

You can get whatever (clothes, accessories, giftcard, etc) you like provided a total of at least £50 is spent in a single transaction

Yeah - as Gulz says. I just thought the giftcard option might appeal to some people as instead of becoming £15 off a £50 spend at Topshop/Topman, it then applies to all of the Arcadia group stores as shown in my post above, e.g. BHS, Burton, Evans, Outfit, Wallis etc.

Gulz - I posted the purchasing a giftcard idea as a separate deal, hope that's ok again with you and the mods etc. Referenced you once more for this deal in the OP. It's here - hotukdeals.com/dea…792

Superb offers from Amex have two amex cards, 2 spends at gap coupled with their VIP promotion ( 30% of all full priced merchandise and further 10% when buying 4 items -further 20% when buying 6 items or more) that's almost 50 % off plus £15 back as statement credit. Sensational, oh I nearly forgot till September 2015 Gap are doing a fabulous offer on adult jeans BUY 4 pairs even if reduced and get the fifth pair for FREE up to £50 in value. Each time you buy a pair they stamp a loyalty card along with your receipt bring in all 4 receipts and the card and get your free pair of Jeans. I got that too in the above offer. So thank you AMEX AND GAP.

Did House of Fraser the other day, money taken, items delivered but not got my credit yet although I did get the "congratulations" email to say that my cards had been accepted for the deal. Does anyone know how long HofF take?

Original Poster

I got my £10 back 3 days after I made the transaction at HoF online.

I have a barclaycard Amex , can that be registered !

although I'm not a fan of "gay and proud" clothing it's far better quality and fit than what associated British foods can get made for pennies in the far east

You need an Amex card. You sign up to the offers, e.g. for TopShop here, you spend the qualifying amount (£50) or more....Amex then credit you £15 back on your statement.

Thanks for that appreciated
