and if you wana save another 50 quid, the ES1 is also on discount. Follow the link I posted above. (But seriously why would you get the ES1 if the ES2 is on sale)
I would fancy an e scooter but none of these have great reviews. Also these small wheels will make you fall over when going through London streets and potholes. I want one with big wheels and powerful enough to move 100kg at 25km/h

Isn’t that called an electric bike
Ha. You could say that. I have a Gocycle G3 already but sometimes a scooter is more practical. I saw some with 8.5” air tires.
For pretty much the same price they also do the Xiaomi M365.
How long does it take to come to the UK? Anybody bought something large like this using railway method of delivery normally how long does it take? I bought something coming through rail it has been about 5 weeks and ups tracking not updated since 22nd of November. When I ask them to provide the ups tracking they keep saying it could take up to 40 working days not including weekend and still won't provide correct tracking (ups) tracking. I have the China train tracking which has gone back to China now. But no ups tracking. Is this normal thanks in advance.

Yep - but price fluctuating for a few quid at the moment:

Xiaomi M365 deal:

I'm a lil over 15 stone and I hot 25kmph on this. It's not without it's faults, mixed reviews from people but mostly positive in my opinion. If you are looking for info about these take a look at the FB group, I had trouble finding info and got results there.

This scooter is fantastic, one ride you will be hooked. Saving me £6 a day on travel.
This is tempting. If only I wouldn’t feel like a total plonker going to work on this.

I took the plunge - bought the m365.
Decided to look like a plonker just so I can save £6 a day with a repay period of just 2 months

Some times it takes over 2 months. Your ups tracking won't be updated till it reaches Germany. My one after 2 weeks spent in Poland customs arrived to Germany so guessing will be here next week at some point. Its not my first scooter from gearbest or a big item, but probably longest delivery on this one.
I love my ES1, very happy with it.

I'm 47 which may mean I'm past caring what others may consider is too old to be travelling by electric scooter(M365). I see people smiling though none laughing.
I'm torn between the Ninebot ES2 and the M365. I can't find a proper comparison between the two anywhere or perhaps I haven't been able to get to the right site.
Any ideas?
I have m365 and es2 both are good. M365 a bit smoother, but with es2 you won't have punctures. I would recommend extra battery for es2 can be picked up from aliexpress for about £110-£120 with 2-3 weeks delivery
Thanks @gulbinas2004 Knowing what you know about the two scooters now in terms of capabilities, pros and cons. Which would you recommend?
The ES2 becomes a lot more expensive with the battery pack. It would have been nice to get the same capacity as the M365 out of the box but have the option to upgrade the battery.
I suppose you can change the tyres of the m365 to non-puncture ones? Or add slime

I ordered mine, 21st October from GearBest. It still hasn’t arrived so 52 days so far (but has arrived in Tamworth, UK so hopefully this week). The tracking number they issue at the beginning is also the one you use for UPS from Germany onwards.

I did - I guess as long as they ship this week it’s not too bad... sigh
Thecrater

I like them both really, but without extra battery i would go for m365. I also have custom firmware on m365 and now that think is fast ( i wouldn't want any faster). My partner rides to work every day and covered over 700 miles with no problem, just now and then some puncture repair needed

I would not recommend non puncture tyres, the ride is harsh and you will also lose mileage and top speed. On the other hand slime helps

Custom firmware?

Download zip file then unpackage it, download down g app, connect app via Bluetooth to scooter, check version, add bin, flash, check version, done.
Get an m365 guys, ride over 5 miles a day on it to work and back.

Just as we speak - just got an email from gearbest, it’s been shipped with tracking. Now just gotta wait 2 months !!
So no customs duty payable?
Is it shipped outside eu? Thanks

It gets sneaked in to the EU through some insecure backdoor, then it travels by UPS to the UK.

Easy, stop worrying what strangers think of you!

In fact ride it with your middle finger in the air.

Problem solved, now enjoy your new scooter

I've got the m365 and have ridden the es2.

The m365 is simply a better ride, smoother, not as bumpy and just feels more sturdy.

The positive of the es2 is that's it's a bit sleeker looking and it's got puncture proof tyres.

I've changed the tyres on my m365 to puncture proof tyres, now it's the perfect scoot!

A few guys in another post said they got their’s with no custom. But always say also see how unlucky you are
Has anyone found a way to get free shipping on this? It always wants to charge me about £30 for railway shipping? Definitely can't get it at the advertised price
