Good price for a half decent new season waterproof jacket.

The price in store and online is currently £80 with the Go Outdoors discount card, however Go outdoors will price match with the Craghoppers website where they currently have this coat on sale at £50, and discount it by a further 10% with their price match guarantee bringing it down to only £45.

Simply fill out an online form, pop in store or give them a call (they are currently having issues with the online form as I found out earlier) and use this link as reference...

I have a very similar coat that I got last year. Very good quality. This price is a true bargain. Heat added 🔥
I was in store when this came through. Found the coat and they matched it! £45!! Bargain. Thank you!
If you get this reduced to £45, you will then have to pay for delivery, which is £4.95.

So you will be saving 5p. Actually, you will be saving £4 as craghoppers has a delivery charge too...

Tempted.

Is it warm? Or just waterproof?

It’s just waterproof but is thicker than similar waterproof jackets I was looking at. It also seems like it’s quite windproof so should keep some heat in.

This is the label.
I have claimed on the Go Outdoors price match for something I found considerably cheaper after I bought it - surprisingly straightforward, although I did have to go back to the store. So hot for the deal and the store.
Smart looking jacket for the winter & one that will actually keep you dry! Tempted to get this for my husband & put it away towards Xmas gift. Thanks very much for sharing. Heat from me
Thank you heat added
Or go to craghoppers site with link in op and put in code MVCCG50 brings the coat down to £40 and then £3.95 delivery. Total £43.95 just purchased one for my son to give his dad at xmas.
Where did this Craghoppers link come from? Is there any way to get the dark navy version of the jacket to show up at the same price?

I just googled it when shopping around for prices. Only the dark moss seems to come up at this price.

Brilliant, went this route cheers 👌
Ordered from craghoppers. Thanks
What's the arm length like with this jacket? Looks like they had to put the model in the larger size to fit the arms. That's the problem these days with large meaning fat unlike 20 years ago when it meant tall. No offense to all the happy campers here who may or may not have ever experienced this and think I'm rude saying large means fat.
But to be extra clear if you're over 6 foot 2 then arm length normally requires extra large and that means it will look like you're wearing your fat dad's jacket.
Oh well only short fat people here

I’m 5ft 11” but fat. I take a 2XL coat. The XL was perfect on my arms with the cuffs ending at my wrist, but tight round my fat @rse. The 2XL is a good fit on my waist but about ½” too long on the sleeve but I can live with that so went with the 2XL.

Hope this is of some use.

Brilliant, best post I've read on here in terms of being helpful to me personally for a long time. Thanks so much.

At 6'3" I'll probably find that a large, 2 sizes smaller than you, will be way to small, an xl perhaps the right size but not sure about sleeve length. I'll go visit an outdoors shop in the next day or two and try various coats on for sizing and see that way as they'll be similar enough I suppose if they don't have this particular one but have another model from same brand.

Thanks, appreciate the humor too. Cheers.
Great find thanks op
