GREAT if you need a cheap Digital Camera and could do with buying some products.
If you don't need the products i'll leave it up to you to decide whether it's worth £35 (I think plus postage).
Lovely looking camera.

Don't need one myself so i'll let you decide. Are there any codes around for Avon?

HTH some of you anyway - perhaps a nice gift, something you could give the kids etc?

It is avon, which means will prob not be in stock for MONTHS like everything else which you are supposed to recieve free.

Did you place a Cold vote for this reason?
I only ask because obviously we don't know if this is the case, so i'd rather people vote on the deal itself, not whether they will possibly not be in stock etc.

I voted cold.

People would have to pay me to use a Vivitar camera. They are awful, and even for free you'd be better off buying a proper cheap camera - not a cheap heap of crap.

As cold as it is possible to be.

Yeah, well I voted hot. I'm 53 and have been a photographer since my teens. I've played with 3 Vivitar digicams, and while none have set the world alight, they've all been OK. I can't speak for all Vivitar cameras, but I doubt if vibeone can either. Voting cold on every Vivitar deal is just ****.

bizarre - 'crap' is allowed, but a, n, a, l gets censored - just where does crap come from? Go figure.

I was aiming this deal at anyone who either doesn't have much to spend on a camera, or perhaps buying for a child (so again doesn't want to spend much).
So thanks for that info!

Sounds like a good deal to me. Obviously not the best camera brand in the world, but I've also used some of their cameras and they're actually not as bad as you'd think.

Unfortunately, as others have noted, you may not get the camera for a while though. So not sure which way to vote on this one.

Got my camera straight away, no problem, its what it claims to be - its a camera!!!! You know what they say, a bad worker always blames their tools.

I just received this as an early christmas present and while it's not what I would want from a "home" camera (ie:all sorts of techno wizardry) the fact that it is just point and click (no hold for focus etc) means it is perfect to accompany me on security work (for snapping pics of miscreants or security issues etc) and inexpensive enough that I dont have to worry about "destroying my pride and joy".
It would be a great camera for kids, the pics are absolutely fine and good enough to play around with in software. In all honesty its a great "handy camera"...would be great for clubs, holidays, gigs, anywhere where you may use something like a disposable so you dont risk losing your £100+ does-it-all megacam.
