Most of these comments are nonsense.

Plenty of people use these with no problems at all and without damaging the door frame.
Great way to damage your home

These look as if they are designed to be supported via the architrave. Really?!

Looks a bit that way, I presume it's actually working on leverage but there is still going to be stress out on the architrave... Not a good idea...
Great for hanging caps, scarfs and coats....
Have used these for years, I'm about 80kg, no issues at all actually quite sturdy!

Yup.

Had one of these a few years back - they're great at first until you realise a groove forming in the architrave. Best to use these in places where you're not bothered whether the door frame/arch gets damaged.

Bearing in mind that all that is supporting you is a few pins/no more nails and the mitred in vertical contact from either end, it’s fine until it’s not.
Whether the architrave is fixed well or not, it’s a decorative moulding, not a supporting item.
Good luck if it’s working for you, but I’d rather go for one that fixes through into the joists.
Good if you don't want to drill a hole in your doorway

Well you could try fixing it to the lintel, if it's wood or concrete (if you've got a good drill and a suitable bit). But useless if it's the modern hollow galvenised steel type
A must for all aspiring trapeze artists on building sites. Any available for tractor drivers?

I can't imagine there are any which fix to a door? A joke perhaps?

Exactly, some people with tell themselves - and other people - anything to avoid having to exercise.
Using it for years as well, no problems at all
Ah yes, that thing I trip over every time I'm in the spare room...
Or you could just go the gym

Great comparison.

I do actually use these for the intended use but yes it does double as a good coat hanger.
39958882-762XE.jpgPain is temporary, but £250 is forever... so dont forget to film yourselves.
Had one in place for a few years and used regularly with seemingly no issue, but eventually noticed it was pulling the door frame away. So took it down and used for push ups instead.
Instructions should have warning only to use on stonehenge and Egyptian era doorways
Came for the over dramatic comments. Left satisfied. Hot
