This plays really nice on my 1070ti Intel I5 3470... 60fps smooth with the latest nvidia driver.

So glad I never went for the console 30fps version.
Love Crash too much to wait for the price to drop! Been waiting ages for the PC version
What's it like using with a keyboard? I've never owned a controller unless it was for a console, but I prefer PC gaming.

Probably as equally as frustrating as a gamepad haha. It only requires a few buttons but like most platform games, these are suited better to gamepads, I didn't try with my keyboard (there is no looking around so I imagine the mouse would be useless).

Easily getting 60fps on ultra quality using an FX6300 and a 970.

Get an Xbox One Pad, it's fully compatible with the PC and most modern games have full support for it (if you don't want to use a M+KB). You can even get a wireless dongle to use it wirelessly, best of both worlds.
Nostalgia aside, it's not a good game. It's from those awkward early days of 3D platforming. In the remaster they have somehow made the jumping worse. You have to be ultra precise and it's really unforgiving.
18 quid already? I think I'll wait until it's at my biting point of £15. Also, I already have it on PS4.

if you go into the nvidia control panel and turn off v sync you can actually run it at 144 or whatever you want.

The first remastered game is harder because the original had a cylinder shaped hitbox where as 2 & 3 (and all 3 in the remaster) are more of a pill shape.

My Skyrim locked out at 30fps on my laptop the other day (had no idea why, turned out I had the power cable unplugged, took me way too long and googling before I finally realised thats another story!)

But basically I can't believe how bad 30fps seems now after playing 60fps for so long!
It's literally like night and day. I'm sure it doesn't make much different going 60+ but for me 60 is the new minimum
Bought on PS4 when launched so rebought on PC. The difference 60fps makes is unreal(or in my case 144fps )

Recommend and runs like a dream!
Love Crash. May wait for it to come down in price. Will try the demo posted later

Thanks for the tip but I'm playing it on my 60hz TV so 60fps is fine...

To be fair you’d feel the same about 144Hz after playing at 60Hz

Oh really, see I havent had the experience tbh
Maybe one day. Although consistently running 144 is gonna be an (expensive) task on any new games

Latest Controller version has Bluetooth built in, no need for a dongle
