sorted byHowever - buyer beware... This is NOT a plug-and-play appliance; we are years away (or thousands of pounds worth of printer) where you can simply print what you want. It is well and truly the remit of a hobbyist, especially at this price point. You'll come across faults, prints will fail, and you'll need to figure out why. Most days I love owning a 3D printer - the other days I come close to slamming a hammer through it
I would also suggest that to elevate this, you'll want to learn to design your own stuff - that really elevates a 3D printer. I recommend looking at a program called Fusion 360

However I've not convinced myself to buy one yet as I'm still haunted by my Anet A8 that I never got working properly. I know these are meant to be a whole different league, but I'm not sure I'm ready for that level of stress in my life for something that I have no real need for
This is an awesome first 3d printer. I knew nothing about 3d printing and assembly took 15 mins as there are like 6 screws in total which is very different to the earlier models which are like building a nuke The official assembly video on youtube is great, even for the first manual leveling. I was printing the benchy boat in no time!
One positive, so far email responses have been quick.
