Cough, cough,So cool, clicky, LOL

This video was the first thing I thought of too.

These bikes have really become naff imo

That's it, after watching that vid, I'm never getting a single-speed bike!

Bring on the hills!

These bikes have a reputation for being crap, falling apart and being made of rubbish components. If you are willing to spend nearly twice the price then this is more like it:

£299 for a Charge Plug 2010

not voted based on the fact that its a good deal against the list price but these havent got a good rep for craftsmaship. 'these will break in 6 months'

We've had a few customers bring them in for us to build and we refused to because they are that bad (some dangerous). Rubbish welds and missing sections of weld on one of them, tubes not aligned correctly so whole frame wasn't straight and also frame wasn't drilled out properly so the rear brake wouldn't even reach the braking surface.

Terrible bikes, don't even bother at that price.

Avoid at all costs, get a Charge Plug instead which may be twice the price but it's far, far superior in every way. I wouldn't buy a Create under any circumstances.

Just one gear on my fixie bike

I've heard these are terrible, got myself a Kona Paddy Wagon fixie for £350 couple of months ago, love it, best save another £200 and get a 'proper' bike.

What is the point of a fixed gear bike? I can understand for a bmx but these?

Buyers should be aware that there are skills required to ride a fixed wheel bike .Do not practice near roads and they are next to useless on hills.

I think they only deliver to London

Get one of these instead:
halfords.com/web…534

much better value for those on a budget

But they are great for steady - state training rides. The website ahs put more bikes on sale, so technically its no longer expired again...

Hitler rode a fixie, do you want to be like Hitler ?

He used to breath as well - better ban that!!!

As others have said in this thread, go for the Halfrods Carerra one if you want a winter salt dog or the Charge Plug at £300 is exceptional value really from Wiggle. Else, man up and get a Fuji Track and stick some brakes on it. If you've not tried fixed gear riding, don't knock it. It's been around a lot longer than the wannabees...
