Why is this being voted COLD!

I think that this is a nice gift for someone to recieve, it isnt something that is available in shops, its personalised & the reciever will know that a lot of thought has gone into it.

£13.95 for 40 sweets?

You could buy yourself a couple of 1kg tins for that price and throw the ones you don't like away and still save money

nice idea, but think i would like a mixture of sweets

I agree, its no more a rip off than Thorntons charging £10 for a box of sweets that costs them £1 to make yet people still buy them!?! Sure its expensive and too be honest, a rip-off price wise BUT as a prezzie I've got to say that I'd love a box full of orange creams

have u actually clicked the link?

sure you can mix the sweets... but try to get the boxes and have the message printed for me as well from those tins!!

idiot..

this is expensive, but same prize as every other gift box chocolate...

This place is about deals, bargains, money saving opportunities. As nice a present as someone might think this is (and I don't), it's no hot deal - it's actually a total rip off.

Let's be honest. It's £14 for a box of Quality Street.

You could say that about most of the deals on here..... its horses for courses really. Just because a deal gets posted it does not mean that YOU have to buy it OR like it, to someone this MAY be a good deal you know, hence its still a worthy post IMHO!! :whistling:

Hence this site is so rapidly becoming pointless and irrelevant.

Great addition to the thread :whistling: YES we have established that its a rip off price wise BUT as a gift idea it still has value to some.
