Thank you. I also managed to buy the
Logitech C922 Pro Stream webcam about a month ago for a similar price. Is this much better given the 2k resolution? Thanks

I've not got anything to compare it to unfortunately and I can't find any comparison videos against the C922 Pro. What I can say given the short testing I did with it today though is it seems worth it to install the Creative app so you can tweak the settings to best suit your lighting. The default is ok for some light sources but for others you'll get a better real-life representation of colour if you turn off the auto white balance option. Other than that, I'm really pleased with the quality, especially given the price.

I've got this but I can't really see the point for 2K if you want to use it for video call. The quality is nowhere there using with Skype or MS Teams. Not to mention about Facetime.
Is there any better program for video chat quality wise?

It's also dependant on your internet connection so if your connection isn't the best you won't be coming any close to 2k anyways

Many VoIP apps don't use HD, very few would use more than HD. So I wouldn't worry about the resolution.

The cameras ability to pick up light and colour is what is important. Followed by FPS.

If you are in streaming then it doesn't matter much since your picture will be tiny in the corner of the screen. Again, ability to pick up light is more important.

The key takeaway is almost any camera will do, 30fps minimum, 60fps nice to have, as you can fix poor lighting by buying better or positioning your existing lights better. Rather than just focusing on the web cam.

It's a good camera and the stereo mics are great.

I have the V2 version of this, I don't know if it's an issue with this newer model but I've read complaints that every so often the webcam will show a green screen for a second and I've noticed it happening on my one too. Not the end of the world but just something to maybe consider if it's still an issue with this model.

Got mine yesterday. It's cheap and pretty cheerful,

Clearly struggles a bit on dull old cloudy afternoon like today and the settings out of the box are just plain weird. Some tweaking with the app gets it to approaching decent though. (edited)
