hmmm.. No display..

Can't see the point of such of having a large memory if there is no display ( or folder support).
Can you imagine pressing the skip forward button 1999 times to get to the last track !!!

I totally agree with simes, I got a 4gig Veho mp3 player without display and i sent it straight back, you cant next track through 4gig of songs to find the one you want. This is a good price for a 4gig mp3 player if you dont mind which songs you listen to though. However your money would be better spent buying this one: hotukdeals.com/ite…ye/ and a 4gig micro-sd card for £17 from play.com - 6gig in total and a great display. I have that mp3 player and highly recommend it, its also the same size as this one.

Yeah, not gonna heat this one im afraid, a Sandisk Sansa and 2GB SD card would be what i'd go for.

these are good for taking on holiday -I got the 2 gig version which is a tenner cheaper - load up a playlist from the laptop and perfect for lounging around on the beach - u just gotta pick ur faves beforehand

Hot - Thanks Edi

i got one of these before xmas for someone, it was the same price then.

had a chance to play with it briefly:

+ reliable, simple and good interface design like all the creative mp3 players i've used
+ allows folder skipping so actually quite useable (this isn't some real cheap player where you have to skip through every track.. ugh!)
+ looks good, very slim (the other way, you can't see)
+ works with a mac, standard UMS

- data transfers seemed very slow

i dont think not having a screen is a big deal. its easier to use in a pocket because its designed for you not to have to look at it, and also better for people with poor or long sighted vision.
basically, you're paying about £14 (about double) over a plain memstick and getting an mp3 player aswell.

its main competitor is indeed the sansa xpress, however that seems plagued with reliability problems and only comes with 2gb, max expansion to 4gb (not SDHC compatible.

Personally i would find not having a display on an mp3 player ridiculous! Get 50 albums on there and it will be an absolute chore to find anything, i got a 4Gb player from argos, similar size, full screen and full folder support £35

Agreed, got a Zen Stone with no screen and it was really annoying. Ended up buying an iPod, with a screen!
