I own one of these and the sound Quality is well above pre installed monitor and TV speakers in terms of sound quality. Volume is decent for the size but not going to blow away any neighbours anytime soon

Agreed. I have one of these and replaced it with Bose separate PC speakers. Prepare to be disappointed and you just may not be. Useful as a standalone Bluetooth speaker for background music at a small gathering, due to the internal rechargeable battery.

Bought this for £34.99 in Feb 2021.
2 years later, it is still going strong, but there are annoying crackling electrical interference noises and I have no idea how to fix it.

Same. Ot very loud, bass is meh, but overall happy with the purchase.

It says USB hub, but I can only see one input. Are there more inputs?

Edit- I bought a secondary monitor that has only a usb type C input for powering it and a mini HDMI output. I was trying to workout if a usb hub, as they call it would make it a bit more versatile. Naturally I would need converters, but I'm considering it. (edited)

    No USB hub.
Uses mini USB for power. Three inputs : 3.5mm line input, Bluetooth and will play music files off a USB stick.

It's like Christmas all over again with the courier excuses. Driver running late, now it says "Could not be delivered as the driver could not find your address". You found it fine the last 5 times you delivered a parcel here.

To be fair DPD have redeemed themselves with a surprise delivery this morning.

For the price it's a decent enough upgrade from the inbuilt speakers in the monitor that's it going to be used with. Thanks to the OP for spotting the deal. (edited)

Just got mine. For £18 it's really good:
    -6 hrs battery
    -bluetooth
    -aux
    -decent sound

I use it connected all the time to laptop docking station (Power+AUX).

FYI if you use it as stationary speaker and want it to play loud connect it VIA AUX not BT. It will let you to increase sound lvl and on the speaker + windows scale.
When connected via bluetooth both "scales" (speaker buttons + windows slider) are "merged" and sound loudness is low
Just if you need it to be louder

Silly question perhaps. Could I hook this up to the computer via micro usb to charge it, and then it would stay permanently on? Or can it not be charged and used at the same time?

I can't speak of this exact model, but that's what I do with my compact soundbar (a random Chinese one off amazon), works perfectly.

Is this a 2.1 soundbar? How does it compare to the majority Bowfell?

I want to replace my Logitech 2.1 system with a compact 2.1 soundbar.
    ChinesePate's avatar
    No, stereo, so 2.0

Be prepared to be underwhelmed with bass though

Mine arrived this afternoon. For £18 it's a decent enough little speaker. Hopefully no one expects too much for something that costs so little!
