Went into Clas Ohlson in Croydon today and saw the Creative Zen 4GB Silver MP3 player on the shelves @ £20.99. Far cheaper than I've seen it on the web.

Features are:

MP3 player
Microphone/Dictophone
FM Radio

Sadly, I'm happy with my 80GB ipod and 1GB Creative Zen but for those looking for a smaller, portable solution from a reputable brand, can't go wrong with shy over £20.

Looks like its just instore

Never heard of the company before, but their terms sound very good.

Actually, I only discovered recently that those terms are the norm. The two year guarantee on electrical and many other goods was a European directive from a few years back and the second bit are the key points in regard to Distance Selling Regulations for items purchased ONLINE - they are not usually applicable to in store purchases. Still, it's nice that someone is prepared to make their customers aware of their rights!

Distant selling regulation has a 7days cooling off period. They are actually allowing you 30days.
As you mentioned you normally don't have the right "to change your mind", when buying in-store, hence it is truly superb.

I will have to pop into their store next time I go to the Whitgift.

Yeah, the cancellation period is 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which the goods are delivered but I believe the standard return period is 30 days.

dont suppose anyone is going to get one and could get an extra one for me for a few beers?

They opened a store in the Manchester Arndale about 3 months ago - a few bargains but mostly the prices are similar to everywhere else from what I could see. It had a strange mix of departments - reminded me of Target in America...

Great price very Hot.
