I think these things have a radio as well. Cheaper for me to buy one of these for the radio, than a cheap radio walkman:thumbsup:

Is this what it is...

No, it's the Zen Plus that have the radio, it looks like this is just the normal Zen Stone. Great MP3 player, got mine on Amazon for £15 about 18 months ago, fantastic basic MP3 player.

Excellent bargain

Creative make some great products, very good price for somebody who doesnt have a lot of music. perfect for a gift for your family

These are great - had mine for a couple of years now and it's still going strong. Excellent no-nonsense player, perfect for running as it's easy to feel the buttons which means you don't have to look at the device to change tracks or change the volume

These are great players, I use Creative Labs in-ear phones that were posted on here last year and sound quality is fantastic.

Currys have the clip on speaker sets for these at the price of, I believe, 99p.

Good luck holding 500 songs are decent bitrates.

At 192kbps you'll be luck if you get 200.

Saw a few of these in the Morrisons in Welwyn Garden City last week if anyone local to there is looking. Think they were silver ones.

Really? Next you'll be telling us that it is no good for playing video due to the lack of screen! IT IS ONE GIG!!!

I've got an old Zen model (20gb) and bought my wife a 4gb Zen Stone (pink!) for xmas but at a tenner I might get one just for emergencies.

heat added.good offer

Bargain. My bro can pick me one of these up for next to nothing, Discounted.

Not a bad deal, picked one up for £2.97 at PC World in december, wouldn't pay more than a tenner for one to be fair. Got an ipod shuffle myself but the g/f loves her stone.

"bought one myself this week for funning."

funning?

lol

Surely almost worth it just for the headphones!!!

heat on this. I've got one of these and they are perfect for the gym as they weigh absolutely nothing!

please help whats best for gym this or i pod thanks

If it's got a speaker built in then it's a 'stone plus' which makes it a much better deal.

it's not badged as a plus, but definitely has the speaker - i've been using it.

I was an early adopter of the mp3 player, paying £180 for an unbranded one in 2001.

This player is my player of choice now, tiny and does the job. I just listen to 6 albums and change them every month or so.

Is great as a little memory stick too, I put my presentation slides on them sometimes.

its better than the shuffle for a few reasons:

drag and drop, not itunes.
Has a skip album button on the side, shuffle does not.
Charges with any usb cable, shuffle does not
Cheaper

Whats the batt life on these then ?.....As got the 2gb one without speaker, but as small screen, And iv found it to be the worst one out of all my , mp3 players.........lucky if i get about 4 hrs..ish, .....sticking with my sonys..

just picked up one for the missus today, £9 with discount

I bought one last weekend and am switching from my 20gb player to this. The reason? I continuously stick music onto my other player and don't listen to it or it gets lost with everthing else. Now with only a gig of capacity I'm forced to listen to everything as I can only put a fraction of music on (well, 1/20th).

It's like having my old Sony cassette Walkman again! Really pleased

I picked one up yesterday from the Morrisons at Airdrie, mine has a built-in speaker but no FM radio

Welwyn Garden City still has about twelve in stock but you need to ask for them as they're not on display.
