I bought two better ones for less on ebay. (with bike mounts too)

You can pick up cree lights from £4-5ish delivered, from china & uk sellers.

Be interested to know what batteries they take and the light output?

From 7 Feb - don't waste your time until then.

The problem with the eBay ones is that surely they are all fakes??

Looks ok but doesnt say how many lumens

Dont the costco ones take 3 AAA batteries? This looks like it takes 2 AAs which is better imo.

yes they do, hence similar........the costco ones are 100 lumens which isnt bad......about 1/2 power of my dxtreme sourced uniquefires and hugsby and almost as powerful as my led lenser p7's

I got a good one from dx for £8, takes 1AA it's called Sipik sk68

But this Lidl one looks like 2AA which means longer run times.

The Costco ones get bad reviews on amazon:

Remember these should be available tomorrow.

bought one today... seems good for a tenner... nice and bright - comes with 3 x AAAs

I bought one today and for the money it's a good product. As above it comes with 3 x AAAs and the output on 100% is 150 lumens. Not bad for the money and no waiting on dealextreme to deliver.

Going to vote hot.

I have heard that the batteries that come with it are not that good, putting Duracells in makes a difference. Also, not convinced 150 lumens is a genuine figure, probably about 60 lumens. Still good though.

I bought a couple today. Have several from DX already and love them. Also have come brighter DX lights for the bike, and fully enrolled in the arms race!

These have a slightly longer body which actually makes them better as a torch because the DX ones are very short and too small for my hands really (makes them better bike lights though).

They also come with a canvass holster which will be very useful.

says 4 hours runtime which is pretty good, if true.

Comes with 3 Energiser batteries so dont see why anyone would say they are not good...

I wanted to get one of these which uses 'normal' batteries for my Dad walking his dog, but the DX ones that used AAA were a bit small. This is perfect.

Will also get the kids to use these for cub camp etc and not worry if they get broken or lost.

I already have two led lenser make torches which cost about £40 each. Got one of these lidl torches today, and whilst they are not as good quality as the led lensers, it still feels like a sturdy torch, and is as bright as my led lenser T7 which is 200 lumens! Hell, for a tenner you can't go wrong really, I'm gonna keep this one in the glove box of the car, ideal as a backup torch for dark winter nights and won't have to worry if it gets lost or broken!! Great for £9.99! The only one thing..the pouch that it comes with it is a bit **** - the velcro on mine doesn't match up so won't close, but holey moley who gives a damn! BUY ONE!!

I agree, good torch for the money, the casing is nice chunky metal, feels solid, and it's bright. Excellent torch.

been looking for a torch, cant argue with price. thanks for info. heat added.

Picked one up, very impressed with it for the money! Very solid build, great light output and as a bonus it came with the case and batteries Was after a new torch so very happy all round
