Barrettine Creocote is an oil-based Creosote substitute for exterior woods which has been developed as a safer, more environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional Creosote fence paint, which is no longer available for domestic use.

Available in a light or dark shade, this creosote substitute is ideally suited to rough woods on sheds, fences and barns but can be used on a variety of exterior woods to protect and preserve.

i thought this was a big tub of chocolate sauce
Bloody EU. The old creosote was good stuff.
Same with Deep Heat. The modern day version barely works.
The EU banning creosote was a nightmare for chicken keepers, the creosote never really dried and kept the coop bug free, especially from the dreaded red mite which kills chickens if left untreated.

It's available to professionals, I know people in farming who still use it.
You can still buy the proper stuff, creosotesales.co.uk but only for industrial/professional/farm use.

Otherwise they also sell "Creoseal" which is basically the same but without the carcinogens (I think). I use it all the time.
Creosote is way better than this rubbishy stuff. This stuff works ok if you mix in about 25% used engine oil.

You are aware that Deep Heat little more than a placebo, well it works as a placebo and by distracting you from the original source of pain. endoskeptic.com/201…lm/

I would like to object to your post based on two reasons;

1. I think that you are deliberately being provocative and controversial,

2. Your mix is way off, it has to be a minimum of 50%.

Creosote is coal tar, which is a carcinogen and a brilliant preservative, their Creoseal appears to be oil based, so won't be in quite the same league, but it will probably be better than most of the water based products in the local diy store.
I've used this for a while it's perfectly fine at repelling rain and hasn't washed off in last two years so I'm happy with it it beats the so called wax based Cuprinol fence preserves that's washed off every time it rains and I've wasted money on tbh....
Great for a top up tan and I can look like David Dickinson X)

Reading between the lines it appears it's illegal for the general public to buy Creosote, professionals can buy it at long as they don't then sell to the public.

I don't think shops have a duty to ensure the buyer is a professional..

Sooo... happy days.
EU has also just banned the main weedkiller and also lots of plants. Vote leave and eat your peas
Btw I realise my post above is short on detail but I'm in bed n tired.

Their was also a BBC TV programme on which a doctor tested it and demonstrated that it doesn't raise muscle temperature at all. Placebo effects can be very effective anyway though
