Offer also available on Cricut Maker for £379.99.

John Lewis Oxford Street are giving away a free Cricut BrightPad and Cricut Workshop when you buy a Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker. They'll also deliver everything for free if you want. Workshop sounds like a great idea if you're just getting started. There was a BrightPad being demo'd. Definitely makes weeding a heck of a lot easier.

Cricut are in the Haberdashery department on the 4th floor. These are the machines. They also have a load of accessories and a demo table with projects.

Are John Lewis selling other Cricut stuff like vinyl and accessories or is it just the stuff in your pic, please?

Edit... I didn't read the bit in your description about them selling accessories. Sorry. Have they got a lot? Also any 3 for 2 offers like Hobbycraft please? Don't want to go up there in case it's not worth my while.

Yeah there's a whole aisle behind these machines that's full of accessories. I saw vinyl, iron-on, card, fabric, glitter paper, cutting mats, pens, and loads of the Maker blades (engraving, debossing etc).

Not sure about specific offers on the accessories. Think they're a bit cheaper on individual colours. Standard vinyl was £6.99.

They said at the meet and greet that it's just the Oxford Circus one for now but if it does well, they will expand to other John Lewis stores.

Thank you. I'll have a look next time I go up there.
Great price, heat added. Almost tempted but I have one already. Best thing my husband ever bought, for both of us. I get to craft to my hearts content and my husband is left in peace to play PS4 and watch football.
Cool looking sofa

How often do you need to replace the cutters on these? Trying to figure out if they're expensive to run if always needing replacements. I'd be mostly using card stock and paper.

Hi you can get the twin pack official Cricut blades £9ish, or you can get the 30pcs £11ish unofficial cricut blades from Amazon that are compatible with Explore AirAir 2 and far cheaper and have seen no difference in quality.. I mainly cut vinyl, craft foam and cardstock and each blade lasts me on average 3 - 4 months almost daily use. It depends what you are cutting really, I find cutting a lot of glitter foam can shorten the life of blades as does balsa wood and leather. If you buy the 30pcs pack you have the advantage of 2 types of standard blade and the deep cut blade. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't say it's expensive to run especially for paper and cardstock. Amazon do a good range of less expensive alternatives to most of the official products. I've not yet had to buy new mats (over a year) as I clean them when they lose their tackiness, with soap liquid, little water and sponge to remove debris and hang to dry. If you use vinyl look for the 631 vinyl on Amazon and transfer paper can be used up to a dozen times for each piece cut. Lots of videos on Youtube for hacks and tips, including how to use Cricut Design Studio. So much you can do with this machine, you really won't be stuck for things to do.
Sorry just seeing your replies I don't get notifications anymore. Thanks for that info going to look over the whole range of Cricut and how to youtube videos now.
